Enjoyed this one. Low key but full of interesting dialog, particularly for the Doctor, who is very perky and surprising here. It starts off like an early Hartnell story with the big, mysterious space ship. I remember the name of the story in the TV listings and wondering what "Four to Doomsday" meant. Sounded intriguing.

It is said in the story that the ship will arrive on Earth in four days. So the title could mean 'four days to doomsday'.

This was such enjoyable Who. I only got to see "Four to Doomsday" and "Arc of Infinity" back in the 1980's on Dutch TV but that was Doctor Who for me and it stayed that way, into the time when via Super Channel I got to see Tom Baker's Doctor in 2 serials "Robot" and "The Seeds of Doom". I didn't understand these serials in respect to the Doctor Who I'd seen. Who was this Doctor? Where was Peter Davison? Took me years after to get to grips with the whole of Doctor Who history.
But "Four to Doomsday", that's the first serial I remember as I wanted to see this, I wanted to sit in front of the TV and see it.
