Nice video. That's a crazy amount of striped bass. You would never know they were there if you didn't have the camera on it. Now your going to make me trying this. But with my luck I'll hang up and loose the camera😀
@@stevenl34 I never had the camera hit or catch anything. Unlike the tube that seemed to pick junk up very easily. But exactly. I had no idea how many fish were under my kayak. Literally 100s. Next time Ive got a new tube and lead core to control the depth. Should be fun and make a great video watching the fight from the perspective of the fish. Thanks for watching 😁
Great job on video Darryl. They sell a clip that holds egg sinkers to adjust the depth of your worm, maybe better then lead line. I have some out in my kayak. Tight lines buddy.
@@Gramps55 thanks. I’ve already bought the lead line. I watched two guys I fish with catch one after another using lead line. I think the control of the depth is key to why. It’s interesting. Every 10 yards it’s a different color and trolls 5 to 7 feet. And it wasn’t a bad price. Hopefully the next video is how well it catches fish and not another one of how many didn’t bite 😆. Thanks again
@@DarrylBlackBlackfishFishing I’m sure it will be Darryl Good luck.👍 I have line counting reels for trolling this helped me keep track of my depth, I’m sure the lead line will work great, less gizmos 😉
@@Gramps55 😂. Actually I have it on a counter also. I use to hunt and I will be hunting again this year. Buying a house in a fantastic location for white tail. I always said if they have a grenade season, I’m in 😂. My point is I will take advantage of anything I can to help me catch fish. This location is phenomenal as you could see in the video. It’s just loaded with striped bass and that pretty much last till the end of the season although the bigger ones will head out to Block Island shortly, you’ll still be able to catch stripers months to come
Glad to hear you’re getting back into hunting. Good luck with the new place. I used to fish at night for stripers close to where you launch your kayak. You probably can guess where. Yes I also will try to tighten up my fishing game as best I can when ever I can. I have a rig board video and the rig board is on the living room coffee table. I’m always making rigs of some sort. Tight lines buddy
Thats a crazy amount of bass . Do you think trolling with the camera made the lure rise some ? Try the Butchie Built tubes they have one that trolls deeper The kayak center sells them.
@@fishingthesalt1 definitely the camera holds it up higher and thank you. I was recommended by a friend the same tubes and I will be buying them. Thanks again.
Great job Darryl enjoyed video, they make a clip to hold different size egg sinkers so you can adjust depths of worm fishing I have some. Maybe easier then lead line. Tight lines Bob
Yeah, I’ve already bought the Leadline. I do like the fact that I can kind of control the depth every 10 yards. It goes down about 5 to 7 feet. I think it says so about 35 yards out I should be at a perfect depth, but I will be taking my camera and running it to see how it’s swimming and how is the depth thanks again
No, I think the tube was too short. It wasn’t swimming very well. I’ve got hits on it in the past, but I have to look at this video. I could see why a lot of fish would swim right by it and it’s hard to manipulate it so that it swims correctly I’ve already picked up a better tube and lead core line to get it closer to the bottom. Thanks for watching 😀

Such cool footage! I'm amazed that none of them hit it! Do you think it was because of the depth issue of not getting near the bottom?
