amazed how many players crumbled against Phil over the years, even when they had him under pressure and seemed like they were gaining confidence they just couldn't finish him

Fast forward 5 years and this was the World Championship Final

Check up he beat him at championship league final, champions league jext year and beat him in Sydney darts and loss vs mvg and grand slam. Witch Phil won lots at the beginning of Mvgs career, he was a different player than, And Phil did win the last professional game, 16-8, on the 19/11/17, And Mvg won phil 10-9 in the champions league of darts on the 17/9/17, I watched all these games Live,
And my comment was right now there is only one winner, Phil at his best mvg at his best would be a very close match.

Always wonder what would have happened if MvG had pinned that double to win. Would he have gone on a long run with almost all the top players off their game? Would he have beaten Taylor in the 2013 final, or beaten Cross then Taylor in 2018?
