Some say he lived off his fathers name but he was a genuine guy and his own creation. I liken his tragedy to Heath Ledger in that they both made simply iconic films as their lasting gift to the world. ❤

Well, if you believe the information that it was Alex who changed the scene by adding a pistol shot, then of course yes...
After I dived into the backstory, learning how glad Brandon was when he got this role, how he was afraid to die young like his father, how everything in the film is intertwined with real life (death on the eve of the wedding), then the story becomes probably one of the most tragic in cinema history.
It’s scary to imagine his last thoughts after he was wounded, because for some time he was still conscious.
