FYI - Nova bomb on the witness does hit but it's hilarious. I used it recently and it curved off to the right towards one of his button targets 😂
It did register damage numbers but the way it actually hit him was really wonky
Apparently the nova bomb just tracks to the witnesses head for some reason causing immunes and even needle storm just spreads everywhere and alot off it hits for immunes as well
yeah my raid fireteam was dying when i popped nova and it tracked to the head. for warlock supers, its better to run either well or song for the witness fight. the only usable damage options are chaos reach and vortex nova
To do damage with tracking supers aim lower than the crit point.

You can hit needlestorm fairly consistently by aiming significantly lower than the crit spot at the start of damage phase. One of the animations the witness does causes him to put his crit spot right where the needles hit when the damage registers. I’ve tried to make nova bomb work but it’s very difficult if not downright impossible because of how slow it travels.

Nova on witness can hit. However Ive only found success in either, A) knowing exactly when to throw it before damage starts or B) as he is going to slam at the end. Key point here is that nova tracks to his face for some reason. SO, you have to throw it aimed below the waist lol.
Can you test warlock solar super & bump in the night rocket (chill clip & demo), with star eaters, and facet of courage? The chill clip adds 50 slow for 4 seconds, which should allow facet of courage to activate, and super triggers demo every 3 seconds.

Something is off with your testing? Star eaters in the second test is only hitting for 35% more than the first, is it not 70%? Is strand surge active in the first test or something? Also you said the threadling aren’t getting the star eaters buff which isn’t true.
only impact damage is increased 😊
@@Average4242 impact and detonation both only showing as a 35% increase. You can see the numbers in his video!
I’m not going to ever use nova bomb because nova bomb says “I can track to the champion that guardian is aiming at, or I can track to the random goblin off in the distance… I’m tracking the goblin.”

It’s hard to justify over running nova, sure it can absolutely get in the way but it’s the same with like tcrash or even tether you just need to know when and where to use it.
in a dps phase knowing when and how to use something is not very feasible... everyone makes their rotations as quickly as possible so finding the timing and the right place to cast something is not optimizing. there are simply situations in which nova bomb can be used and others not
this super is the best... when using euphony
