its not so bad. i cant play too much - i had 50 attack 1 def pure with 96 str that i wasnt really using that i decided to convert to a rune dragon alt. including questing from mith gloves to barrows+ds2, as well as getting 75 def and 85 attack (working on 80 def now for ferocious gloves), it took me about a month a half. id imagine making one straight from tutorial island with no prior combat stats from scratch would probably take 4 months playing maybe 2h a day. but its worth it. im doing mlm to 99 mining on my main to max, and with having this alt vs not, ill be able to make an extra 300m which i can use to start slayer, at which point my rune dragon ill slowly make a rc pouch alt which will massively speed up rc for me

Side note, range wyvern alt is much more afk. 4 clicks in a row per 40-50s. That is it. The only catch is no bones, just noted items and alchables. Still almost 600k-700k per hour. You also get to stay there indefinitely and have your main pick up the drops once a week or even 3+ months

I thought rune dragons were closer to 1m an hour, not 1.5m or even 2m with max str gear- because I saw your video i went for it, turning my pure into a rune dragon alt and now im smashing 1.5m an hour instead of 500k an hour lol. even when im only playing 2h a day, thats a lot more money. thanks for the video boss. this alt is gonna be needed for me to max because i need to grind cash on the side since i dont have enough time to both skill and make money with balancing irl stuff
Thanks for the guide! If you're making multiple alts at once, do you recommend questing them at the same time or rotating between them (e.g. afking skill reqs on one alt while questing on the other to a certain point, then switching)? Curious on which you think is faster/better!
It doesn't really count as an alt, but this video got me to re-bond up my main account after only playing my iron for a few months now. I'm hitting more and more big skilling grinds now on the iron, so I might as well sustain membership on the side. Edit: also now I'm poor lol, spent my entire bank on justiciar and lance, couldn't even afford the torture. That's another good reason to do this I guess.
My way of paying for my uim main is this: I made an alt and started getting it ready for zulrah. Once i had like 75 mage and range, i did 7k zulrah kc, which made me about 600M and got range and magic up to 92. Got the Pet, and both mutagens twice and of course completed the log :P Well, then i started to quest further, skilling etc and finished DS2. Did about 4K Vorkath and completed the Log as well, which made me another 500M. My next Goal was getting ready for Raids 1. That meant, investing A LOT for Prayers, Herblore, Gear, and overall Skilling about 250M but absolutely worth it. But now, i got one single alt with over 3K kc in Raids 1 solo. I got 4B Bank and bought more than 5 Years in Membership for BOTH of my Accounts and all that just by strictly doing a minimum of 6 hours solo Raids 1 per Week. The TBows and drops like Ancestral adds up quite a lot ;) and besides that, i do some slayer while playing my main UIM. Slayer, when doing it right, can be super AFK and great Money too. And otherwise, i do some flipping when afking in the Ge like fletching. Maybe some people find this way quite effective too, who knows but let us all know! :)

When you talked about afk skilling alts I expected r2h smithing. About as afk and profitable as amethyst mining, doesn't require any bonds. Setup is basically just family crest, blast furnace gold

I don't have any experience with raids 3 but I'd say do wyverns instead, you can't really die there. But don't be afraid to try rds out, maybe it's doable
For making a slayer alt following your spreadsheet, with the release of the Venator bow do you reckon it'd be better to use that and range every task on the alt now instead of melee?
As a student, is it worth using your main as an "alt" while you are busy studying? I have always debated if I should do that, since idk how distracting it would be to do work while that is running in the background.

you could try to level your stats at runedrags but 80 def is still fairly low. training combat stats at vyres could be a good idea to also make some money. id say 90/90/90 would be very good for rds
Question: how difficult is it to convert one type of alt to another? I wanted to make a vyre alt first and then possibly make it a lure alt down the line (I’m 97 slayer on the main tho so idk) - how annoying would it be to do that with Priest in Peril unlocked?
depends on what you are doing on your main while training the slayer alt. i made it as afk as possible so you can even do tick manip on your main if you wanted while training the alt. but having priest in peril makes the xp/h go up if you barrage shit like nechs in cata ofc
nope, goes for all creatures in the slayer tower, since some of them are p annoying and velds are a p bad task if you dont have sins of the father done

How do you setup the 1 click login? When I use the Jagex launcher it just opens runelite to the login page like normal EDIT: for those with the same problem, I had to update Runelite and give it and the Jagex launcher admin privileges
@@riebread13 that is with chiseling the ess blocks while running you won't be doing that on an alt, so it's probs more like 450k and at that point just play a vyre, was my thought process
@@heboxjonge i chisel occationally on my alt just depend what else im doing. Most slayer alt are muxh better money but i always find they are alot of clicks when im bossing on the main. I can maintain a higher total profit if i dont have obligated clicks on the alt. Great videos btw nothing but love

yes, but if you cant click for a bit ur just standing there, i prefer letting auto retal taking over the wheel when it comes to alts.

Ranged xp is next to useless on an alt but it might be decent for just a slayer alt. Melee slayer just saves time in nmz I guess

you still get half xp and no drops, it is possible for thzaars if you attack only the thzaar-hur and mej but more on that in the slayer vid

nieve is slightly better for afk slayer with cannon and easier to get to but feel free to do dura
