People talk about Maikeru doing insane grind but what I see is a massive improvement in his editing skills. Each vid and series I'm seeing better and better videos that keep me more engaged.

I thought the clog for it was just in the pets, which isnt part of Xtreme as far as i know! The Clog for trawler is the outfit right? Then need to fish a manta ray or what not.

@@MaikeruRSDepends on your ruleset at the start, however generally pets aren't required for chunk completion
I think some chunkers put skill pets on "best method unlocked means skilling pet". I believe trawler is best method, not too sure though

I'm following limpwurts ruleset, and I haven't seen him go for any pet that wasn't part of a greenlog. But fair enough, cool to know!

Glad to see you play osrs now. It is so much more entertaining than rs3, speaking of the game providing entertainment to people who don't play the game.
Even though I no longer play any version of Rs (ongoing 7th "short break" year from the game), but plan on coming back to Osrs when the Sailing skill launches I like to listen/watch these chunk series from time to time. Your editing and narration experience shows as this was paced far better than probably about 9 out of 10 beginnings of similar progress series I've come across over time so kudos for that! You did get to roll a number of chunks which probably helped, but when you hit a daunting grind I hope you can find the way to split it into entertaining videos and make it your own a lot like Limpwurt does with his series. Regardless I'm looking forward to this and late welcome to Osrs too!

I did visit them when rolling them on stream, but i wanted to keep the video flow as best as possible and figured it'd be good to cut a little out because there were so many rolls b2b

Great starting episode. I like the starting chunk. Camelot seems to be at the center of the map, making this hard to predict where the random chunks will send you next. Good luck with the grinds.
Yeah! That was kinda why I picked it, I also couldn't choose between seers and catherby for my chunk, decided to go camelot so that then fate will take me whatever way it wishes!

The highest thing you can fletch with a yew log is the yew shield at 72 fletching.

Yeah definitely could do that, I did mention it was ~9 days played when i finished my grind and rolled witchaven, but a nice overall showing at the end can be nice, I'll include that next time

I had never looked at the drop rates for the rare fishing catches and now that I have heard them I know I have gotten ridiculously lucky with that.
I started getting annoyed at how many big sharks I was catching because they were filling my inventory

Amazing episode! I'm sure you're well into the grind by now but I'm certain that going for a willow shortbow from easies and using the bronze/iron arrows you can buy from the Catherby archery store is much faster than the black longsword or even a mithril mace from telegrabbing. I guess it depends on the easy loot rng though. Can't wait for the next episode!
Easy clues are a 2.5% chance to be solvable and a 1/128 from men/women though and are 2-4 steps. Farming something like that could take quuuiittteee a while. I have a plan, but thats also taking a while - although episode 2 soon! :D

Fletching has shields... Longbows are not the highest thing you need to do from that skill.
EDIT: Oof, rolling 99 Fletching before getting an axe, and possibly getting a Bronze Axe only is rough...
Yeah, was just a simple mistake - but the premis for the ruleset is the same, so thankfully it doesnt change much! :D

@@MaikeruRS Best of luck, my chunk started in Lumby and I'm not doing skillcape but I choose to process things at the highest requirement. It took me a long while to get that first chunk done, admittedly I do work 60hrs a week so I dont have much play time lol...

If you click on a task in the chunk map, it gives much more detailed information about the task, including why it thinks you can do all the steps!
The cooking requirement comes from it claiming that you can use a "cooking pot" to cook the rabbit, one exists in the candlemakers house. I don't know if it's actually correct that you can use that or not however.
I loved your content in rs3 and I love Osrs comment. You're awesome and you seem happier. I play both but always enjoy your vids
