Lyrics:
Duskied, dark eyed lady
I see you once more
Dancing through a candle flame
A rainbow round your door
The wind would always sing for you
The stars would paint the sky
This I will remember
And the sadness in your eye
So now it's goodbye, Indian lady
So long, Indian child
Goodbye, Indian lady
I loved you for a while
Together we made poetry
Of love and life so blind
Without the other people
In space and beyond time
We laughed together in the moon
Running hand in hand
We swam together naked
In the waters of your land
But now it's goodbye, Indian lady
So long Indian child
Goodbye, Indian lady
I loved you for a while
We climbed up to the heavens
Where the mountains call your name
In virgin pastures, green and gold
I loved you once again
But now all that's behind us
The road moves in a wrong
So someday when you're dreaming
You'd still may hear our song
So now it's goodbye, Indian lady
So long Indian child
Goodbye, Indian lady
I loved you for a while
Goodbye, Indian lady
So long Indian child
Goodbye, Indian lady
I loved you for a while

A life truly lived. Rest easy, Old Cambrian!
What does "Cambrian" mean in this context?
Rest in peace legend

Fantastic video great Roger Whittaker with James Last Star Parade
Danke
super song diese geile stimme dieses tambre .
Smukt. Flot fremført.
Lols this was recorded in 1986.
Ruby Tuesday was recorded in 1967. This chorus was lifted from that 😁
Hallo Ard- popnacht !
❤🎉 His voice is like Hemanta Mukhopadhyay 🎉❤.
They said the month a month where she already knew how
SOUND YEAR 1977
Not that indian! but African Kenyan Indian!
That’s what I thought! The sitar’s etc., should have made that obvious 🤣
Are Smurfs real? I love you pops
Lols that isn't 'Indian'. That's North American indigenous. AND they've used sitar. Even the appropriation is inappropriate. 😁 Omg ⬜ ppl have no idea.
Top marks to RW, great lyrics, not really meant to please the crowds, strong anti-war stance, and of course, amazing voice. 👍🏿
I believe Smurfs are real I've seen them how about that she knows I love Earth how can I leave her there's no such thing
Indian lady you mean talking abt native Americans
It has the sitar playing ...so obviously Indian lady belongs to India the country !!! Whittaker grew up in Nairobi Africa ... not far from India 😊
What? You couldn’t find an East Indian lady to dance in your background? You had to add to the confusion with local natives? Sitar music not withstanding
Ok I'm
Wrong Indian..
ahaahaaa! sure thing
This woman looks like a Native American, people should find another name for the Native Americans because they not the real Indians
R.I.P.
