Ofcourse yes, the best part is once they dry out you can still use them, unlike acrylics. But the advantage acrylics have is you can repaint over them and you can't repaint over gouache. You can definitely start with poster paints to get started with learning this medium and then upgrade to gouache if necessary
I have been using brustro gouache since past two years and thought to upgrade my gouache colours, so I bought these colours. But I am disappointed, the colours are kinda transparent are not that opaque. Can you suggest me what to do?
@@PrafulCreations Oh yes. That’s very true… most of the brustro gauche tubes have dried and also the end of the tube gets damaged for some unknown reason and glue kind of thing oozes out… gonna try this kind of set soon
how to store gouache paintings? like can we use any varnish or some medium so that they dont get dull and dusty if hung. Please answer this i have been looking for this answer for too long! I follow you on insta from too long, love your paintings
Hii so normal varnish won't protect neither glossy matte or spray liquid varnish. There is a separate medium available to seal Gouache paintings but that's a little expensive. it's known as dorlands wax medium its available on Amazon for around INR Rs 2000. I just keep my artworks inside a closed box for now, for the ones I've to put up on my wall or sell to customers, I get them laminated
Hi Sneha, gouache are supposed to give a matte finish, meanwhile acrylics provide the glossy finish. Monte Marte are perfect for glossy finish and himi gouache for matte The application and usage of both the mediums are different, for beginners acrylics is recommended for sure
Would you recommend this for an occassional painter like myself? I have heard they dry up fast....

Omg that gulab jamun painting 🥺👌💖💯🔥🙌
Thanks for the video. I wanted to ask how good Brustro guoache colors are as compared to this!
The only disadvantage brustro has is its tube form, so your entire tube can go waste if it starts drying up a bit :(
