Love watching the Fab Rats crew work the magic on everything. However when I see the food from Archies, I want to drive back to get a Fab Rats burger, I visited back in September from Colorado and the Fab Rats burger from Archie’s was the BEST burger I have ever had, can’t wait to visit again for a burger. Also visiting the shop was great, visiting with Paul’s mom was nice. Just a wonderful group of folks at Fab Rats.

Someone was over revving that SBC. Time to remove the chairs and put those louts to work. There are always floors to sweep, tools to clean and put away etc. Good time to replace oil sending unit. Copper tubing should not be used for Brake or Fuel lines. It cracks after extensive vibration. Hunter is the luckiest guy I know. Left rear wheel is bent. 3:73's would also work well.

The secret to using a tap is to go forward a half turn, then backwards a quarter a turn. It breaks the chip and prevents the tap from getting seized. Especially important on smaller taps.

Some engines actually use air to assist in turnover and starting. It's super common on the giant low-speed diesels because there's so much mass that needs to spin
It's common on marine engines. A yacht i worked on even had a special regulator setup to start the mains and gens off a scuba tank in case the main air compressor failed.

If you can't find one check aviation engine suppliers. We use them for cylinder leakage tests, to find TDC.

It's common on marine engines. A yacht i worked on even had a special regulator setup to start the mains and gens off a scuba tank in case the main air compressor failed.
