Thanks for uploading this video! I'm in the hunt for a trimmer and saw this one at Costco yesterday. Good chance I'll be picking this up today. Hope all goes well with getting your ACL repaired!
I have the SAME trimmer, mine is a month old. Funny about your knees, I’ve had both of mine replaced and I’ve had 2 back surgeries also!..I love this trimmer but it’s making a weird noise now (less than a month old) and it sure doesn’t sound like yours..mine has a grinding hoise. I have replaced the line once, it’s the basic bump head method on almost all trimmers. I can use it for about an hour before it runs out of power, no matter. I loe it.I have an acre of land and my grass and weeds are about 14” tall..it cuts through them like warm butter.
Thanks for the response. It's a little louder the the caterpillar trimmer. Hopefully the customer service is better, if I need it. I'm hoping that I don't need a full knee replacement.
@@TroysHobbies In regards to the Knee Replacement, the most difficult hurdle to get over is the FEAR of it. It actually isn’t that bad (as long as all goes well with the surgery). On a scale of 1-10, I felt the pain at level 4 and so did my neighbor. During the surgery they give you a serious Pain Blocker that lasts 24 hrs. Just be sure to take the 10mg Norco Pain Pill prior to that tend time, I didn’t on my right knee (first knee to be replaced) and it felt like someone hit my knee with a baseball bat. So, when I got my Left Knee replaced 2 months later I was definitely sure to take that pain pill. There is a 2 1/2 week period after that where you will be uncomfortable, mostly in bed at night, so put a small pillow between your legs and that will solve the problem of bone against bone when your knees come together..feel free to contact me at anytime on this or the String Trimmer!
I I forgot to mention about the knee replacement..be sure to find a Dr. todo a “Minimal Invasive” knee surgery..This way they won’t cut any muscle, they move the muscle to the side. Lots of good info. On this on RUclips.

@@bigviper64 Thanks for the heads up on the knee replacement. I'm hoping that I might just need an ACL repair for right now.
