  • Is this bike future-proof? I discuss this and more. Also I test the range, motor noise and see if it is more powerful than it's predecessor and what it rides like?
    Thanks to ‪@Loukrozb‬ for the demo.

    Nice riding and real-world trail experience on the bike, thanks! Many reviewers have found that the bike comes with turbo dialed down to 80%, so your range predictions aren’t accurate. I’d state that in some text overlay to let viewers know that upfront.

      Even if you could, it wouldn't be worth it, IMO. I think 320watts is a bit too high for the SL. Drains the battery too fast. If you need that much power I think the non SL Levo is the better choice.

      It's quieter for sure but you're not fooling anyone when you pass another biker or hiker unless you turn the motor off. My opinion is that the motor noise reduction is nice but hardly a game ganger. The rest of the bike is slightly better in every way. Not enough to upgrade from a previous gen SL, but for someone who's reasonably fit, a great upgrade from a "full fat" levo.

    I have been told that with this new bike, in order to get full power from turbo mode you have to go into Mission Control and set it. Out of the box you get pretty much the same power as trail mode. That’s the way it comes set up.

    • @koho
      @koho Год назад +3

      Nope. I have the "old" SL (best bike I've ever had!), and just pushed the new one on a short ride. Much more power in the factory settings. Also, much quieter and I liked the feel of the mullet. Noticeably deeper suspension.
