Thank you for this. I'm "trying" as a father of a 20yr old daughter (& 22yr old son). I feel like I was absent, spiritually, through their teen years, but always loved & supported everything they did through school. I always battle a sense of guilt that I didn't do it right during those years. Now after a family tragedy & hurts within the church, they have no interest in God. I'm constantly praying to God how to handle this season & know that ultimately He will bring them back. Thank you again, Focus on the Family for all the years of teaching & advice. God Bless!!
I really enjoyed this and its explained in such a unbiased matter of fact way. Dad's who watch this will gain the insight that this responsibility is honorable instead of feeling pressured to present themselves as being guilty for something or theatrical about it. It's tough for some men to connect emotionally I've noticed in my experience. Thank you for sharing this💛
And the award for best Christian show goes to...
Focus on the Family!!!
I can listen to this program all day!!! God Bless You!!!
Meg’s advice for fathers seems to go against our culture’s idea of what a strong daughter would be. Lovin’ it!

How can she be confident of she needs daddy to protect her?? Doesn't make any sense.
I don’t know that the issue is one of teaching a daughter that she needs to be protected, but rather teaching her she is WORTHY of being protected :)
