    CROW is when you have flaps down and ailerons up. Used to slow the plane down and create a super stable plane.

    WOW !!! Great job guys! This is cool. Worth the wait! LOL... I have to say that is seriously some of the best air to air footage I have seen. I think it actually beats FlighTest air to air video. So kudos to y'all on that... speaking of that the intro with that music section definitely had the same vibe. I also like the red high-lighted logo showing which camera was being displayed. All this coupled with decent audio added up to a great content experience. I have been curious about a head tracking UMX gimbal FPV experience and how to set it up. Also really interested in a UMX FVP digital video. Looking forward to what is next!

    Great video. Iv been using those cameras for 5 years and they are great. I also use double sided sticky tape. I've used this camera on my timbers, a heli, a carbon z cub and even a v900. Best budget fpv setup to date. I highly recommend. Thanks guys for putting pilots like us on the map. Happy flying.

      Yeah these cameras are great! We use them on all of our UMX planes, as well as a Timber X, P51D mustang, FT Guinea Pig, and many more! They are super great for their price! We try to power the camera from the battery that powers the plane, usually from the main flight controller. That way we don't have to mess with charging extra batteries, or plugging extra things in every flight.

    12:44 😱 Never would have thought about the quad overpowering the lil AIO cam. Maybe try different channels that farther apart, my wife and I always use R1 and R8. 🙌🏻

    • @InvertedAviatorsRC
      @InvertedAviatorsRC  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah that's a great tip! Our issue is that the quad's camera uses a digital signal, and the AIO camera uses an analog signal. Even though they shouldn't interfere with each other on a normal basis, I think that since we landed the quad right next to the goggles that were trying to recieve signal, we just blasted the incoming signal.

    I know on full size planes the Maule has a feature where in cruise the ailerons and flaps go up about 3 to 5 degrees I think decreasing induced drag for a higher cruise speed and therefore lower fuel needed for a trip.

    • @InvertedAviatorsRC
      @InvertedAviatorsRC  3 месяца назад

      Not only a fuzzy television screen from the 1950's, but also the ability to get a camera feed from a micro aerobatic plane! If you continued watching the video, the static came from the quadcopter's antenna interference, and after I stopped following the signal greatly improved.

    What type goggles do i need to buy for this setup? I am a beginner and want to build this as well with my conscendo

    • @InvertedAviatorsRC
      @InvertedAviatorsRC  2 месяца назад

      For this setup you should be looking for analog goggles. The WolfWhoop Wt03 camera sends out pretty nice analog signal, so digital goggles won't be able to be used with this camera. Our first analog goggles were the Teleporter V5 (www.fatshark.com/product-page/teleporter-v5) and they were really nice at the time, but nowadays you might want something like the Fatshark Scout. We also have a video on which goggles to pick out, so that might be a good resource too! (ruclips.net/video/KAn8UINDpQg/видео.html)

  • @JustEnoughRC
    @JustEnoughRC 8 месяцев назад +1

    Hey guys. I fly fpv planes and I think your camera is set to the lowest power setting. You need to scroll to the 200mw setting as it is probably on the default 25mw setting. You will get much better range on the camera signal.

    • @InvertedAviatorsRC
      @InvertedAviatorsRC  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for the tip! We’ll give it a try!

    • @Jeroenvdb88
      @Jeroenvdb88 2 месяца назад +1

      Wont that drain the battery a lot faster?

    • @JustEnoughRC
      @JustEnoughRC 2 месяца назад +1

      @Jeroenvdb88 faster but not much faster. This camera runs on a 1s battery which are very small and light weight. A 300mah 1s battery could last more than 10 minutes on a 200mw fpv camera easily.

    • @Jeroenvdb88
      @Jeroenvdb88 2 месяца назад +1

      @JustEnoughRC so that works if you are flying with an extra battery. I think these guys are using the 3s 300mah battery inside the plane and that's what I was planning to do. But maybe I just consider your strategy 🤔
      Do you also have a type of fpv goggles that you can recommend me ? I think it s a waste for me to go for the expensive dji stuff if I want to use this analog camera

    pro tip. put the cam on the wing

    • @InvertedAviatorsRC
      @InvertedAviatorsRC  8 месяцев назад +1

      Interesting theory! How do you propose you get power to the camera? External battery? Also wouldn’t the view for the pilot be a little skewed to which ever side of the wing you put it on? We’re curious about your idea, and would love to hear more!

    • @LyroLife
      @LyroLife 8 месяцев назад

      @@InvertedAviatorsRC r u serious? Or do you just want to increase the number of comments of your video? lol. Its a pretty common way, to put a FPV cam on the wing to get a free view. You can power AIO CAMS from the main battary using a voltage regulator. You guys seem to have plenty of knowledge and experience. Anyways, nice channel. Keep going.

    • @InvertedAviatorsRC
      @InvertedAviatorsRC  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks! We’re new to the rc glider community, so we haven’t seen this “free cam” on other planes. Our thought with the current camera placement is that the center of gravity wouldn’t be affected, and the wires can all be hidden. Also, our thoughts are if the camera is on the wing, we couldn’t tuck the wires and hide them anywhere, and then once again the center of gravity would be a little off. Also also, which way would the camera face? Just forwards, but from the wing tip? Or towards the body of the plane from the wing tip? We’re just curious and are always trying to learn!

    By any chance did you guys try to fly your UMX crescendo on a two cell battery? Mine will not throttle up and it says my battery is not charged for flight😠 I have lots of two cell batteries that's what's upsetting me

    • @InvertedAviatorsRC
      @InvertedAviatorsRC  8 месяцев назад +1

      Oh no! Unfortunately we didn't, but it sounds like the telemetry data is messing with your ability to arm. You could try hitting "CLEAR" when you see the low battery warning, and see if it lets you take off. Or you could even try disabling the telemetry to see if it lets you arm
