Rock Cakes - Quick & Easy

These old-fashioned rock cakes are just perfect. Made with the simplest of ingredients, they are so quick to make they can be ready to eat within 45 minutes. Resembling rocks they were a big favourite during my childhood, and were popular during World War II, when rationing meant that more exotic ingredients weren't so easy to obtain.
