Hi, sorry for the late reply, You can make this recipe with out eggs, instead of using self-raising flour use plain flour and baking powder and keep the other ingredients the same or you can leave the eggs out all together.

No baking powder??? I’m from Guyana we also make buns we add baking powder and grated coconut it so good
Sound delicious, I don't use baking powder in mine as it was not in the recipe I use, but maybe i could try the coconut in the future.
If you use self raising flour, no need to use baking powder, unless you are using plain all purpose flour. Tq.
Self-raising flour already has baking powder so that is why she did not add any to the recipe.

Baking powder about 1and 1/2 teaspoons
Use 2tsp baking powder.
