Hello Friends, 😁 I spent a wonderful day in this charming place where you can look at the magnificence of the mountains with a beautiful lake, walk in the park, have a barbecue or just have a snack on the lawn. A beautiful castle with a restaurant completes all this beauty. Great place to spend your day happily and beautifully. 🌺
Schadau Castle was built in 1846-1854, it is notable for its location - it stands on the southern shore of Lake Thun, where the Aare River flows from it, and in the distance the peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau are visible.
Now the castle houses an exposition of the miniature Swiss Museum of Gastronomy and the Arts Restaurant.
