So we're just supposed to ignore the fact that none of these traits were present in Ripley's "Offspring" in the movie Alien Resurrection huh? Alien Romulus was simply an amalgamation of the first four films, with a new take on the look of the alien offspring which ironically met a very similar fate. Lazy writing if you ask me, yet I still think Romulus was put together in such a way that it was a fitting re-introducing of an old franchise to a new generation of viewers.
Well it's different because it uses a refined version of the black goo for the offspring ,delivering more enginer traits, while the newborn doesn't use black goo(wasn't created in the law yet) because it was birthed from a zenomorpth cross zenomorph/human hybrid(Ripley V2), resulting in a more zenomorph appearance
It doesn't look like an engineer. The engineers are supposedly just big humans. This thing just looks like a blank human because it was born from one. Stop trying to perpetuate this ridiculous fan theory.
It looks like an "engineer" because Ridley Scott came up with this (black shit, human looking "engineer" aliens, existential crisis), and he won't let it go, because of his ego. That's why.
Dude. Scott was just a producer on Alien: Romulus, and he pretty much let the director Fede Alvarez do his own vision for the movie. But Scott still fully approved.
I have the urge to make an "the offspring" joke.
*YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH* (guitar)
As a New Yorker… your accent was refreshing… Not a fan of this A.I. voice but I rock with your dedication to Alien Fans…
since the release of this movie I've been revisiting Alien Theory and yours and I felt so much nostalgic on both of your channels I love it!
Because of mixed DNA, that’s why it looks like an engineer and it’s in between state alien DNA😅
maybe it because humans and engineers have a ancestral connection

Whats with the AI voice over?
Because the whole thing was written by an ai, probably. The writing style feels that way anyways.
VK.. Man I love you and what you do on here. But hating the voice overs.. miss your Scotish accent fella ;)
Because engineers are made with the goo as well
Itz just a infant ...curious about its surrounds
What is this thing when it fully matures.A God
The Alien Romulus is a good Alien movie finally

Looks like an anorexic baby. There had to have been more intimidating design options.
Liiiiike?
