I'm from Colombia and I'm 25 years old, but this song in particular means childhood to me, those Sundays watching cartoons network and all the Asterix movies, time flies.
@@dennisjansson6239 Were you in my high school French class?! That's where I first saw this, and there was a boy named Dennis. I remember him laughing at loud during a scene with the Roman Soldiers.
I collected the comic books when I was a kid and still have them in my bookshelf. I also had the animated movie recorded in a VHS but I lost that one at some point. Asterix, along with Mafalda and Patoruzito were the comics of my early childhood in Argentina.

This is intentional as with most anachronisms in this serie. Astérix is supposed to be set in Gaul as imagined by French schoolchildren at the times it was first published. However, Goscinny and Uderzo made a lot of research so they could accurately portray all the details that the same children wouldn't think of, like the way Roman camps are set.
@tomo2807 The tricky question is: how can you say something about the Polish version of the song without even hearing it? And I doubt you could hear it, as it was probably a one-time-occasion when the film was screened on Polish TV back in 90's. As for me the Polish one was as ok as the French one.
I probably should watch the film in full to get an informed opinion, but I feel that compressing two albums together caused a lot of each album's best jokes ("In love, is he?" from Legionary; Cacofonix's godawful singing scaring the lions in Gladiator) to be lost.
