This game really has a great meaning. Instead of running from our problems and fear, we must face them.
I'm sorry, but to me, Emma has the better motivation and story.
Think about it, it's her home, the maids are whispering. She probably feels like she's hated in her own home!
As for the boy? What's his thing? He wants to be a dancer, but has trouble connecting with others.
Emma has the better reason to need Balan.
It's like the problem with NiGHTS for the Wii. I seriously doubt Helen really needed NiGHTS more than Will.
NiGHTS for the Wii? I'm assuming you meant Helen then, not Claire. I have to agree with you with that one. Helen didn't really had any issues rather than she was growing distant from her Mother. Will did needed NiGHTS as he had trouble making friends and the only person he has no problems talking to was his Dad.

According to the website, they actually explained their stories. For leo is because he had a broken relationship with his best friends which is why he doesn't want to be close to anyone anymore. But it's not explained here so yea

It’s kind of sad how beautiful these cutscenes are for such an outright horrible game. I imagine the people making them were a completely separate team because these are likely one of the very few good things about this game
I heard that it was Square Enix's high quality cinematography division that lobbied to have the chance to animate this game's cutscenes. These are the same guys that are known for producing some of Square Enix's highest quality works in movies such as Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV and other highly detailed cutscenes in modern Final Fantasy titles. My guess is that they wanted to work on something that had cartoon/anime aesthetics as a breath of fresh air from the more realistic work found in Final Fantasy...

That was awesome dialogue! What do you think his dialogue for the other bosses would look like if we saw familiar scenes of Lance turning them in monsters?

A good old fashioned anime showdown. Emma believes in herself, Lance turns into a boat, and the player presses bumpers a lot to try and switch to a good costume.
This game is beautiful .
