I really like this type of commentary. Very entertaining. Fun to watch. Of course, you have to keep cashing out to keep the commentaries going. That's a drag, especially if the inventory doesn't move quickly.
I just don’t understand why you are still under 20k subscribers. By far my favorite channel. Maybe you should get the engineer to do some die variety/error videos with you as those kinds of videos along with coin roll hunting seem to generate the views. However, let me make it clear that your educational approach, hilarious sarcasm and the sheer variety of coins that you expose your viewers to is priceless. Thanks again for your content!
I recently purchased 150 slabbed coins from a collector. Ngc,anacs, pcgs. They range from large cents to morgans. AG to ms61. They all have one thing in common:they all list at less than $25 in the greysheet. Many in the $5 to $10 range. These were all graded last 2 years. He sure spent a lot of $ on grading! I only purchased them to see how the grading services did on grading these inexpensive coins. Why send in an 1899 Barber Half in VG but with obv. scratch? Tip: It is not worth sending in coins, that are not worth at least several times, the cost of grading and shipping cost. Slabbing inexpensive coins does not increase their value.
Hey Ben - Wow - very nice selection of coins that won't cost us body arts - LOL - That 1881-S Dollar I just purchased from James - I will pick it up in a few days - Also that 1952 S is awesome - my birth year - however I have the 1952 S PCGS 67+ I picked up a few months back. I'll wager that these coins will not last long. All great looking coins at extremely fair pricing. Best Wishes and thanks for getting these coins for your customers
Super hard video, I imagine, but i have a lot of trouble between XF45 and XF details cleaned. Would love to see a video. The 1878 CC is what made me think of this. Tricky area for sure. Love the video!
Hey Ben... if you're thinking about cracking out that steel cent I think it would look great in a PCGS holder 😉 And hope you'll have more raw wheat cents available online, I love my 43 S from you and now would enjoy getting the rest of them... or you could open a shop in OH 😁
@@TiHerr74 Hey Tim great idea - the Casino has a nice Buffet - Also I bought that 1881-S Morgan toner - That 52S Quarter is awesome but I already have one in PPCGS MS67+ - Hope to see you in Tucson - Ben should make special name tags for us - perhaps we can arrange a time to meet?? Best wishes my friend
Congrats on your purchase, Michael! I’m definitely planning on attending the show and will spend at least one night at the casino hotel. See you there!
@@TiHerr74 Hey Tim, Have you already paid for your room - What day/night/ Not promising - I use to visit there and they would give me free night stays sometimes - I can call and see iy you like - free is good - but I think I would have to meet you there if I have a freebie available
Looks like the 79 Morgan is already sold...or maybe you did crack it out 😊 I was going to comment that it's a beautiful coin, but I M useless O it's a 64 and not more. But if you have sent it in and I get proven wrong guess I'll be eating some crow 😉
Hey Ben i got a quick question for you. Do die polishes on coins go against the grade of the coin if they are only visible by loop and not the naked eye?
I bought some "unsearched" wheat pennies on ebay for a nice price, and I know what everyone is thinking, unsearched, yeah right. This morning I pulled a really sweet 31 S in XF and a 1909 VDB not an S but still sweet!!!! I am buying more and no I am not telling you who the seller is!!! I do believe he is selling unsearched coins, what a rare find!
I don't like to pay more then $10. no matter what the sellers plug on to the end of the roll as bait and I would have to buy a few and check them to see if they were worth the risk. I started getting into the coin world a few months ago so believe me, I can be fooled pretty easily and have been a couple times, but I've also had a couple great scores and today was the best. @@MegaSilverStacker

Hey Chad - Ben values the quality of his followers over the sheer quantity and develops his content using this mantra.

Noted!
The $1 gold is a nice one, I own one raw, very small coin, seems easy to lose😮
That 1853 gold dollar is cute as a button - literally!
I watch because Ben covers ancients, world, and thalers too...not just US coins.
And paper money/ but no stamps 😂

Hey Ben, great coins and video. But was wondering how that Colombian half could be an RPM when it doesn’t have a mint mark?
The Liberty half cent looks like Sylvester Stallone from First Blood
Am I crazy or is there doubling on the 4 on that steel cent?
Hey
Anything from Bret Leifer is worth it👍Hey Ben, keep an eye on your mail at your coin shop,I sent something out to you today
Awesome thank you!
Ah come on now 🤨🤔 16th
Lovely stuff, especially for the money. "Newp" (cringe).

Hey Ben, can you hold that 1962 Franklin for me?
It may be gone already 😣

How much is a good price for a roll of wheat cents these days? I have about 2,000 in rolls that I don't have time to search.

Right on man- way to keep the collectors and numismatists alike informed on ways that the community could all benefit. Keep the hobby alive.
Looks like a re-punched date on that Columbian.
