rutger330 so sorry for the late reply. This was taken from the Reykjavik Natura hotel, the hotel is on the East side of the airport conveniently located behind Eagle Air’s hanger and terminal and the airport facing rooms have great views of the airfield. Eagle Air operate a fleet of Jeatstream 31 aircraft with one Dornier 328 and taxi right in front of you, the main terminal is on the north side but you still get good views of the ramp. Reykjavik airport also gets interesting movements when I was there I saw a PC-12 on a delivery flight and the Icelandic Coast Guard have a Q300 based there as well. Hope this helps for when you visit, Iceland is a great place and I highly recommend a three day package holiday there you can book that with TUI, includes Blue Lagoon and the Northern Lights as well.
