"Hi I'm Negan." When he arrives exits his RV to greet Rick and his group and when he meets Alpha for the first time were my favorite scenes. When his theme song started to play during those scenes it was awesome. Here's Negan is another great Negan theme.
Shane’s Theme - Almost a tragic, sad tune, makes you think that he really tries to give his best for the group, but ended up misguided and ahead of the curve. The Governor’s Theme - Commanding and imposing. Like you’re facing a commander with his army at his back. Negan’s Theme - Dreadful in a good way, makes you think that he could break at any moment and break you down. Almost like rage that’s barely being kept in check. Simon’s Theme - Dark and Brooding. As if he was methodically planning his next move, and before you were to know it you’re his victim. Alpha’s Theme - Mysterious and almost whimsical in a way, representing the strange and in a way outlandish way of the whisperers, yet creepy and chilling nonetheless given what the whisperers are. Beta’s Theme - Animalistic and primal, representing his rage unleashed and how he’s nearly become no better than the walkers, in a strange way it’s almost a bastardized form of the whisperer’s ideology itself.
I think you got Negan and philip’s theme sideways Philip/Brian’s theme felt so intense like a heartbeat…he’s a ticking time bomb because he could break down any moments when he finds you irritating. While Negan’s theme…well yes, the music gives you a drill seargent vibe keeping things in order and in command.
I love the pulse (that’s the name of Govs main theme) b/c it’s so intense and I remember getting chills when I first heard it which Bear Mcreary fucking nailed b/c Gov was a crazy unpredictable wild card. I just wish he lasted longer yes I know he was destined to die at the prison but still.
AHHH that would have been AMAZING if he disappeared and had him reappear in another arc!! There is a lot more they could have done with his character :D
@@liamiere_edits I think it would have been cool to have him show up in 5A or B and then being killed by Rick, Daryl or Michonne. Negan's theme the most silent yet simoultaneously the loudest theme. So intimidating. Pure horror. He took on Alexandria, Hilltop, Kingdom all at once. Later he single handedly killed The Alpha and beat Whisperers, saving the protagonists. He managed to become an anti hero. Governor obliterated the prison and many other less resilient settlements before them(like what they did to the vatos gang and the military group), killed 3 main characters(Merle, Andrea, Hershel), and many other side characters, and broke Rick completely by driving him into a situation where he had to lose most of his humanity and become a monster just like him to survive. The governor had a huge ripple effect on the show before we met him and after we met him. He was the first major faction we actually got to see in the walking dead universe. I have to wonder how the saviors would deal with the whisperers, as revealed Alpha had many numbers under her lead
And had a massive horde she could send if a threat was too much, I'd imagine a group of saviors going about their typical business
But upon dealing with an unexpected walker group they would come to a similar meeting of "why are these deadheads acting so unusual"
I'd imagine some saviors and whisperers die upon first contact, then Alpha would reveal herself to Negan but in mostly full strength
Negan is a little disturbed moreso creeped out but he wouldn't feel too much about a group with not many guns
Alpha may enact her 'borders' and would try to avoid conflict with the heavily armed saviors
If Negan wasn't having any of it and wanted to dominate them he may butt heads with her way of life
Could the saviors take on the horde at the sanctuary? If the all-out war in s8 didn't happen would entire outposts fall to the whisperers?
There's plenty of space in between the outposts and being able to use swarms to overun places can be effective if coordinated well
Negan was about killing one or two to submit a group but that wouldn't really work on the whisperers, they don't fear death they welcome it
turning their own into 'guardians'
In a big open field the saviors have the advantage of lots of guns and ammunition, but i'm wondering if it's enough for Alpha's herd
Then I wonder how things would go when they inevitably run into the Crm and Commonwealth
The 'All-out war' of 8 and Whisperer 'war' are pretty insignificant in comparison to the scope of the closest things to resemble a nation
