Synopsis: OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH is based (very) loosely on the true adventures of 18th century would-be pirate Stede Bonnet (Rhys Darby). After trading the seemingly charmed life of a gentleman for one of a swashbuckling buccaneer, Stede became captain of the pirate ship Revenge. Struggling to earn the respect of his potentially mutinous crew, Stede’s fortunes changed after a fateful run-in with the infamous Captain Blackbeard (Taika Waititi). To their surprise, the wildly different Stede and Blackbeard found more than friendship on the high seas…they found love. Now, they have to survive it.

I love how this show balances comedy and real emotional depth. So excited for 2. Season.

Okay real talk, OFMD is my Roman Empire. It’s all I care about and all I think about. I tried GO first two episodes and couldn’t get into it. Should I try again?
@@moonjock1470you definitely should. I like OFMD, but GO has more detailed, though through world building. The only thing (i know some people need that to be invested), is that GO has no spice due to the main couple being asexual genderless beings and all that, but the romance is very sweet.

This show is so funny, thoughtful and heartfelt. Relatable complex and evolving characters. I can’t wait for season 2 ❤️

@@cheyennebrennan966 Yeah I'm sure Richard said it would definitely end with the third, if we get it. I would be fine with it either way, I love the show but I can handle it being short; I just really want a non-angsty ending.
Well, let's hope it will heal the wounds caused by season 1 of this, season 2 of GO and season 3 of Staged.

@@_fi0na_941 I'm talking about on the official Max youtube channel. It originally came out with Because the Night and then was replaced with a worse song
you are right@@ArtichokeHunter ...at the first the official Max trailer was released with Because the Night... then the video remained the same but the soundtrack was changed. I believe it's a copyright problem. This fact perfectly explains how little care Max put into this series despite the love of the fans. In fact, unfortunately it was later cancelled. I'm not a US citizen so I don't have access, but I hope Max has all his accounts canceled for having made this awful choice.
