Beautiful guitar (that tone), beautiful playing (as always). Thank you, Megan. Also: As soon as I saw what guitar it was going to be, I knew that you'd be smiling. Cheers!
I'm not a huge Taylor fan outside of their all mahogany models, but I played this model the other day and it was fantastic. Then again, Walnut may be my favorite tonewood.
Thank you for a good review! I like the pacing and the snippets of playing in between the rest of the information. I prefer this style and pacing of review, where I can find out the exact numbers myself, rather than trying to fit all of that in to the video. I get the feeling you’re aware of the audience knowing that this video is from a music store, and you’re not pretending otherwise. It’s and interesting guitar, but I mostly look forwards to hearing others playing it as my shoddy fingers require a very specific combination of features to sound all right 😊
Beautiful playing and guitar. However, it does not have maple binding. In fact, it has no binding at all. The stain stops before the edge to give the illusion of a binding. The rosette is the same process. Not maple.
Hi David, yes you are correct it has chamfered edges which give the illusion of a maple binding. Apologies for the mistake and well spotted! The rosette around the sound hole is what they call 'black/maple/black'. Thanks - Meg
AD12e is a fabulous couch guitar…since getting this guitar a few months ago I play twice as much because I’m loving the comfortability of lounging in my chair with my feet propped up. To me, this guitar just sounds incredible
Ma’am, if you’re going to give a review other than playing, give the specs like body shape, nut width, scale length etc. why would I buy without those crucial details. You’re very nice and play well. Try again please. Thank you

I loved the drop D tuning on the opening song. The guitar sounded very balanced and 'open'.
Thanks Jay :) Thats exactly what I loved about this particular guitar. Got such a lovely balanced tone!

Very thoughtful and thorough review, beautiful playing with both mic and pickup. Thank you!
Always love your acoustic guitar videos and especially Taylor.
I bought one, its Amazing. Easiest guitar I have played.
I love mine! Everything you said is spot on! Great review!
Awesome review! Thank you from Arkansas!
Don't fly United with it. 😉

We’ve heard it all from the M and G crowd…“Taylors don’t have any low end.”, and “I’ve never heard a Taylor that followed me home.” Yeah okay 😂
Class
that opening piece puts me in mind of led zeppelin.
Looking for an all rounder couch-guitar easy to play, wich would you recommend between the AD12 (walnut) and the 214 (rosewood)?
Thanks

Hi! at 4:46 how did you tune the guitar??

There is a link to the company's website in the description, where the full specs are given.
Hot chicks playing guitars, it doesn't get any better
Wow that pickup's awful, as usual. At least they're consistent.
