D B I did the same thing in 1994. So many songs that sounded good, plus only three men playing. So I formed a band of the name, ‘Opinion,’ after Kurt’s acoustic song. 🎸🎤🎸🥁
Second show on The Nevermind North American Tour, and it's 33 years ago today. Such a good show, and always love Something in the Way Live. Happy Saturday!
I was just at Foufs last weekend. The poster for this show is still on the wall. The Melvins opened for them. $10 in advance, $12 at the door. The Balcony angle from the right was where I was standing this past Saturday also..such a great view of the stage. Thanks for uploading this amazing piece of history!
This was a great night was lucky to be in Montreal and smart enough to check the local fanzine to see if any shows were happening and find this was going on. Been to a lot of shows but this one was a special one for sure.
A Saturday night in downtown Montreal in September 1991. Nirvana playing at Foufs. The Montreal Expos. The Canadiens. Patrick Roy. Wish I could go back in time!
At 10h drive at the east living in Gaspé. A young 14 years old was very very sad to miss this show . But two months after on November 19 1991 , this young man was seeing is first real big concert.. Metallica at the Quebec Coliseum . That 14 years old guy was me and yes I will love to go back and not miss that freaking concert !!
Nirvana’s label has never had any say on what they have to play when making their set lists. If they did do you think mTV Unplugged would be half covers? Lol
No matter how much music I discover, Nirvana will always be one of my favorite bands ever. They’re the reason I got into music in the 6th grade, now I’m a highschool graduate as of this year. Hopefully I can get a bass in the near future, I wanna learn an instrument pretty bad.
This is epic and made my day. Haven't seen the boys in many Canadian shows so as one seeing this and the great quality is even more epic. Thx and best of my thoughts n feelings to yawll. PEACE!!!
Something in the Way is there, one of their best rendition ,,,,this is Longer and more insistent. The voice for this concert denotes a character in total control.

The great sound on this ground with so much proximity this is orgasmic, Burn this on cd and inject this into your car. The concert is perfect and polly is particularly exact and very sensible...and the most important, its the rare time that the we the crowd are not clapping during this song.

Pehaps you are thinking of the infamous bass toss that knocked Krist out when they played at the 1992 Mtv Music Awards. It was near the end of them playing the song Lithium.

The Passion was real in 91'
I will never stop seeking out more nirvana concert footage. I can never get enough of their live shows, they're always so captivating.
Sameeee, i wish anyone in the world have a video footage of the barney concert
Holy damn! The time kurt actually love playing teen spirit!
he actually still liked it tho but he avoided playing it at tv media
I picked up my first guitar because of Nirvana. Really liked those guys but now seeing anything with Kurt just makes it feel like a rainy Seattle day.
D B I did the same thing in 1994. So many songs that sounded good, plus only three men playing. So I formed a band of the name, ‘Opinion,’ after Kurt’s acoustic song. 🎸🎤🎸🥁
It’s the same for me they inspired me to start playing guitar and I felt connected with the band like I knew them and now I feel the same like you
Because you’re listening to the wrong songs ...listen to the mock-up studio version of “Do Re mi”
Me 3
yea
This was 3 days before Nevermind was released. They're playing like they're still really excited.
Kurts pissed in the beginning lol
There was almost no one there that night. Foufounes,k you can really pack them in. Those who were there were lucky
This concert was actually played three days before the release of Nevermind. Talk about epic !

Best live version of Teen Spirit. They still like it enough to play it seriously
They played teen spirit because people want it and the record label most likely forced them to with the contract $$$
@@grunge2012 no, this show was before the song blew up. They were playing it because they enjoyed playing it.
Labels have nothing to do with the bands set lists
@@dc8643 they got paid millions of dollars from a label so the label expects certain things. its been said before by bands

Me impresiona la fidelidad con la que tocaron teen spirit. Ya después de un año la cambiaba siempre. Incluso en esta versión utilizo el mismo efecto.
Esto era antes de qué se hiciera famosa la canción
I am surprised about the HQ front cam! wonderful!!!
Damn this quality is amazinggg

One of my favorite Nirvana songs!

something in the way - endless nameleess steals the show here, seems like a rare share, never seen it before.
There's another one of this era of touring going where they do an electric version of something in the way
