Thanks for posting this great tutorial. I'm 74 so don't learn very easily these days, but I found this very easy to follow. One extra thing I did was to add 5 small triangles, 1 where each cross over/under occurs.

+Gary Brovey Hi Gary. No it doesn't matter what pencil you use. As long as you can create the gradation in tone, any pencil is fine. It's just easier when you can switch between different softness of pencils.

72 multiply by 5 side = 360 or 360 divided by 5 that's 5 sides pentagon = 72 that's to be exact on a protractor or angle finder. thank you.
