2024 THUNDER SALOONS CADWELL QUALIFYING AND A DIFF EXPLOSION ON RACE 1!

Cadwell thunders Day 1 update!, Qualifying went well! Came in at P2 in class and P12 overall! Nice little position to be in with mental cars around me! Then comes Race 1…. This is where my spare diff (fitted after Donny) explodes and leaves me with no choice but to retire on the green flag lap… really really gutted because I had a good chance of taking a couple of places! Maybe even p1 in class! So came in, whipped the box off, realised the diff had also taken out the hub flange, then went home with the box, took it apart and fitted my gripper diff, cleaned and re-sealed, then drove to Peterborough to pick up a hub from @big_gk1984 (massive thanks) with @_jade.marriott_ while @n27nmh and @thorpey1991 went back to Cadwell to start on refitting the box, all got back to Cadwell to finish the job off but darkness had fallen so we couldn’t quite finish it all, Nathan and Danny had done a mega job of doing the hard bit though by getting the box on, next morning came and I got to fitting the hub and everything else, raining really hard at this point.. Marshall’s then call saying they might be cancelling the race due to weather! The team was gutted after all the hard work but thankfully the race went ahead all be it delayed! Race 2 next…

Zip tied my phone to the roll cage behind my head, just before I head out I called my mate who was in the pits lol.. it does work but not that well when moving, struggled to hear when I was giving it the beans

Oh on speaker phone?! Haha if it works it works! Have you tried using headphones or some in ear headphone for bluetooth?
