Thank you - what a feast for Hopkins fans. What a great film. Anthony Hopkins and Blythe Danner were superb. With various twists and turns, I was total engaged with this film. Thank you for sharing .

Just one BRILLIANT Masterpiece, Attention Riveting performances throughout, with the most impressive being that, of Anthony Hopkins!! ❤ ❤ 100% ❤ ❤ Roland Singh, Canada 🇨🇦
It is a most refreshing breath of fresh air to encounter a film that treats its viewers as though they are intelligent and not addicts to cliche, mundanity and worn to threadbare quip. Tom Cruise lifted the bar on the ridiculous when he threatened to kill his enemy and drink his blood from a boot. He failed the drinking part and, additionally, to give us a new 21st century altruistic hero. Though a little tortuous in places, the plot is credibly flexible and just enough explanation is provided in the plot by a character satisfied with his own brilliance. Very few actors demonstrate the artistry to combine the two functions seamlessly. Sir Anthony Hopkins is one of that select few. Jonathan Demme's disjointed direction in Silence of the Lambs nevertheless is saved by his two leading artists and a thoroughly dislikeable Anthony Heald. Hopkins' role ensures a regular stream of viewers. Thomas Harris has written a few excellent thrillers with Hannibal as a true anti-hero. Any of his novels will reward the time spent. Swoosie Kurtz deserves a mention as the third protagonist. She seems so much involved in her role that she complements the trio with equal artistry. Despite her lack of notoriety she is certainly not over-awed by her companions. She fits her character with ease and assuredness. The writers Levinson and Link deserve the highest praise for a script that is obviously appreciated by the stars, it flows consistently and is stimulating to the viewer. One cannot ask for much more. These two are joined in a company that shares uncredited production work with Producer Robert Papazian Tuesday 8 March 2022

In this one, we don't see spouse B finding out; we do, for example, in Sudden Fear starring Joan Crawford Any others? I know of two others.
Overthinking can be the bane of the 'super' intelligent. It is akin to procrastinating. Fortunately the wife didn't 'think'. She seized the moment. Second time watching this film and still love his superb performance_- a man with a mind disturbed by his overthinking.
@marie landry It was the husband who called, they'll both say. Besides, did they do that phone records thing in those days? Now who is overthinking? hahaha
Much better than I thought it would be; I really like Anthony Hopkins... But, the two women getting together to turn the tables made it much more compelling and real!!! I love how the lawyer shoots down their plan, yet in the end, they go through with it. Excellent twists and turns, very exciting.
Great little murder mystery with two great actors. Before Gwenyth there was Blythe, who was seriously overlooked, she could have been one of the greats, handling just about any acting role around...she was that versatile. One of my favs❤❤~IMO
Definitely a *Very Worthwhile* film for sure.... Though, too bad that this particular film copy is of such poor quality. On a Big Screen TV its almost unwatchable. ☹️
