This song is made to honor my Athabaskan heritage. Vinixiłts'eg Q'utasdoyh is the name of an old song in the Deg Xinag language which my family would recite on our way to go on fishing trips in the early morning when I was a child.
.tidalwavforms. is a previously unreleased concept album which began production in 2011, and has remained mostly untouched since 2014. Now I'm putting in the work to bring each song to a finished state, and releasing them one by one as I go. A few of these tracks saw a pre-release version as the Before The Tide EP, and a few others on my old Soundcloud page at the time. But some of these will be released for the first time ever. The album is heavily inspired by a PNW coastal upbringing, a philosophy of living as one with the animals and the sea, inevitable mortality, and a universal state which exists in the balance of art, music, nature, spirituality, and consciousness.
