My cost basis is $15/share. I have sold 4X my original investment. I sold some shares in January at $208/share and bought them back last week at $149/share. Elon needs to stop talking and build cars.

Elon is a delusional liar. An automated self driving system requires a ton of additional expensive tech. A robotaxi will require multiple redundant radar and lidar systems.

I own a Tesla and it's the most amazing car I've ever owned. I love it but I won't buy another one for a multitude of reasons. I always want to have at least one car that is gas or hybrid and we only need 2 cars in my family currently. The other reason is I bought my Tesla at the worst time 11/22 w/34 days left in the year so I missed out on about 11K in incentives and tax breaks. Tesla didn't do anything for the poor souls who accidentally bought the car too soon. Lastly, Elon Musk is all over the place.... I know a lot of libs that won't buy a car now because of his politics. I could give two craps about who he votes for but I think he's chasing more potential buyers away.
He probably did already and got out like most of us when it hit 70 percent up pre halving, now what's left is bag holders who still think the ath is yet to come , while in reality they just entered the lower highs higher lows stage down to sub 40k when I will buy again and wait for next halving and the next load of sheep

Imagine a guy whose company has lost over half of its value in 2 years, demanding a $50 billion dollar salary bonus. We criticize CEOs for getting paid $10 million.. he is demanding 5000x that.
It’s still 7x higher valuation than when the pay deal was initially set in 2018. At the time everyone thought it was an impossible feat to grow that much. No salary, just a high risk high reward equity package. Fully deserved IMO he’s made a lot of shareholders incredibly wealthy. If it didn’t work out he would’ve been paid nothing.
