So many insane things are happening on a daily basis that April Fools Day has been neutralized.
"Is this one of 'em?" Has to be one of the best improvised crowd work bits I've ever heard. I was in stitches.

April Fool's Day here was normal, and uneventful. The other days of the year not so much.

I got my wife with this one a couple of years ago- We had a kitchen sink with a separate water sprayer that you can pull out. I put a piece of tape holding down the on button, so when the faucet was turned on, the sprayer activated and sprayed her.
It surprised her so much she got confused what happened and tried to turn it on again, which blasted her a second time lol.
It’s a great trick and easy to do.
I had a housemate who liked to do that one. She’d put a rubber band around the sprayer.
Problem for her was that she was a ditz; one year, she got herself. Twice.

I don't like April fool's because about 24 years ago I had my first heart attack.
Years ago, my mom pulled a down and dirty joke on our dad.
She made some brownies and shaped them into doggie doodoos. Put a few of them on the entry stairs.
Dad came home from work, and saw the "stuff".
HONEY! THE DOG DID HER DOODIES ON THE STAIRS - AGAIN!!
She said, "It's ok. I'll clean it up."
She picked them up and ate one or two... yum. These are good, honey. You should try one. 🤣
DAD: I'M NEVER KISSING YOU AGAIN!!!

They live in the Cascade Foothills East of Seattle. Raccoons, deer families, cougars and small bear.
One dark Winter evening, dad was taking their black Pom out to the back yard to tinkle, before bed.
Mom snuck out the front door, around the house toward the back yard.
Keeping in the shadows, she started making some wild animal sounds and shaking a bush.
Evidently, it scared the tar out of dad.
More points for mom, lol.
This May 10th, they'll celebrate their 53rd Wedding Anniversary.
He's been our (step) dad since 1971. He took on a woman with four kids and had another one together.
God is so good.

Imagine if the racoons had eaten the "poop" and done some extra? Regarding your dad, he deserves to be called a dad because it takes a real man to raise kids that aren't biologically yours. Give him a huge hug and say thanks dad for being there for us.

I like gentle pranks, ones that aren’t embarrassing or hurtful. Examples (for next year):
-Eating yogurt from a mayo jar.
-Scooping out the top half-inch of toothpaste and substituting frosting.
-Putting poppers under the toilet seat.
-Putting Kool-Aid powder in the shower head (but not red-that stuff is basically permanent and makes the shower look like a crime scene)
I did a great April Fool's joke today. It was awesome. I heard "You got me!" about six times today.
