Congratulations such a beautiful aquarium!! I really enjoy seeing what it started as. Lots of time and planning and you executed it perfectly in my opinion
Hi Miguel, I use various Rotala species for the background: Rotala Rotundifolia, Rotala blood red, Rotala Rotundifolia green, Rotala nanjeanshan, Rotala Wallichii. 🙂
Absolutely beautiful! I love the wood selection you used and the behind the scenes stuff gave me quite the smile! Congratulations and best of luck next year!

those stem plant trimmings are such a chore, amazing work bro!! that buce with large leaves on the top left kind of blocks the background, it's the only thing that i didnt like in the final look, otherwise 100/100! :D

I am glad that is an useful tip! Haha... Yes, with 5ft tank, that would need a lot of substrate, but plants would not need that much, so... brick ya! ^_^

Congratulations Sir and thanks for such an inspirational video. Shows the amount of effort ,hard work that has gone into the scape. Hats off . Also liked the Amano san phrase, excellent video. All the best. Continue your work and keep us inspiring
Hello this tank is my personal favourite number 1 .I have a few questions can you tell how you fertylize your tank? quantity and scheadule. I analysed all our plants that You have listed in description and I cannot find one green plant that is on the left side near glass 25cm in height similar to Elodea canadensis i am guessing but can you tell what plant is it ?
Many thanks, Robert! 😊 I guess the plant that you mention is just a single Rotala rotundifolia 'green' that out of sudden popped up there! 😆😆 Some considered it unsightly but I left it there because I like the plants which thrive for their position in the tank! 🥰🥰
This tank I rarely dose any liquid fertilizers in fact. The rich of nutrients in the base substrate actually helped a lot. JBL AquaBasic Plus is very effective in releasing nutrients to water column and also background stem plants got benifits from that, too. It growed very very well as you can see. 🥰

Very beautiful scape. May I know where do u buy the draft wood from?
Thanks Alvin. I got it from Capricorn Aquarium. 😊

Hows your chihiros lighting setting if you don't mind to show it of course the rgb value, and what kind of water do you use ?? The parameter thanks
Hi buddy, sure. I set the Chihiros RGB Vivid with the % ratio of roughly 115:80:95 for R:G:B, respectively.
I don't really measure the water parameter though. I just use tap water together with anti-chlorine solution like Seachem Prime or JBL BiotoPol.
