Thank you so much Tanya. Tomorrow is my Physics p5 paper and your tips and tricks/guide on both Q1 and Q2 helped me a lot and now I am fairly confident that my paper will go well. May you get all the happiness and success in life.❤❤
I really appreciate this. The explanation was so informative and clear for me, but I think the question was not fully solved: parts c (iv) and d were still remaining. Best of luck to you.
@@tanyachew821 Thank you for your help. My papers went well and they were held in May. I made a few errors in the 2nd question but overall it was a good paper 5. Paper 4 was tricky but could solve all the questions and hoping to score well!
But different past exams papers aren't the same as easy as these to find the absolute uncertainty in the table so can you please help me wirh how will this work Is it always max value minus actual to get the absolute uncertainty? Please help me
The best fit is the straight line that passed most of the points, whereas the worst fit is the line that you connect (from the top of the first error bar to the bottom of the last error bar, or from the bottom of the 1st error bar to the top of the last error bar). One more important tip--> worst fit line must cross all the error bars in between.
find the gradient of best fit first, then find the gradient of worst fit. after that find the difference in the two gradients--that's the absolute uncertainty in gradient
You saved my physics p5 today. Used your methods and it was a time saver. I actually had more time to think question 1 through. Thanks a bunch.🙂🙂
sincerely thank you for the compliments. May you always be successful
Who else is watching this right now? For their exam tomorrow?
Really appreciate this. Super helpful, especially during COVID when we aren't able to get practical practice
Thank you so much for trusting me

Tanya would you please tell me how to find uncertainty of T power 2?
I have T but T^2 is calculated and the unceratinty is required
You take uncertainty percentage of T and add it by the same number of percentage to get the uncertainty of T-square…
if your value is squared you multiply it by 2 for finding uncertainty
@@igotcookiesforu HAHHAAHHAAHAHHAAHHAHAAHAHHHAAHAHHAHAAHAHAH that was last Nov I thanfully passed my A level. Thanks anyway :''''D

Ma'am, do I need to draw two triangles for best fit and worst fit line? If so, which one should be bigger?
Yes. The sizes of the two triangles must be occupied at least half of the lengths of your lines.
@@tanyachew821 Thank you so much ma'am! So either of the triangle can be bigger than the other one right?
Thanks a lot it really helped me
It is indeed an honour to me :)
Thank you so much mam
My honour dear. Thanks for trusting me
Thanks ma'am
Most welcome 😊 Hope it helps.
Hello. Your videos are so helpful! Can you please explain to me what happens to the unit when the quantity is a logarithm, is the unit ignored?
hello, thanks for your constructive comment. You are really making my day! Okay, let me quickly answer your question. No unit for log and ln.
hey, i have a question: why do the best & worst fit lines have to cross?
The best fit is the straight line that passed most of the points, whereas the worst fit is the line that you connect (from the top of the first error bar to the bottom of the last error bar, or from the bottom of the 1st error bar to the top of the last error bar). One more important tip--> worst fit line must cross all the error bars in between.
How to find uncertainty of gradient
Find the gradient of both lines, and subtract one from the other. That's your uncertainty of the gradient
find the gradient of best fit first, then find the gradient of worst fit. after that find the difference in the two gradients--that's the absolute uncertainty in gradient
bETTER THAN MY ORIGINAL CLASS
Thanks so much for trusting me. May you always excel.
here log is to base 10, always?
Yes! But when it is In (i.e. the natural log), then it is basically log to the base e.
Hopefully, that makes sense to you!🍒
