    I used to struggle with six markers! Four marks out of six is indeed a good starting point and in any case, you shouldn't spend too much time on one question as you might run out of time.
    Also, I love the thumbnail XD!!

      @@zerereka Hi, I got alot of the 6 markers from the new spec past papers as well as doing the old edexcel spec ones (these are on PMT as well). Looking back on it I would also use ankii as well to have some "default answers" which hit the required points as some stuff often seems to come up. For this the topic exam questions on PMT are useful! Apart from that Lewis also does some Live streams on past paper walking talking mocks/tutorials which i found helpful.

    Thanks for this video Lewis, you gave some great advice which I am going to use when revising, doing tasks, or in day to day life
    I work as a customer service assistant at the co op and I’m going to start breaking things into smaller and more manageable tasks rather than doing things in one big go. Thanks for the advice once again Lewis 😊I start an insurance job and the tips which I have learnt in this video will help a lot
    And for any student who has a physics exam in the coming months, it’s alright if you don’t get the grade you need. From year 7 - year 11 I was on a grade 2 in maths, ( I know it’s a different subject to physics ) but in 2020 - 2021 I decided to study maths GCSE at college and got a grade 4! There is always the re site which you can do if you don’t get the grade you need
    The main thing to remember is to follow Lewis’s advice which he gives such as doing tasks in smaller, manageable chunks, if you have a 6 mark question then try and aim for 4/6 marks with 4 bullet points as it makes the question seem way less daunting. My physics teacher did the same with the longer answer as Lewis is doing when he went through a practice paper with my physics class

      Just aim for 2 or 3 marks, rather than aiming for perfection. You’re much more likely to given them a go - especially when you’re revising.

    Hi! Can I ask if I get asked to resolve components of an object on an inclined plane, do I resolve the weight into components or the reaction force into components? Since they will give different answers. I’m doing the AQA exam board. Thank you in advance.

      If the mass melted per minute is increasing it must also be increasing per second (since gradient is constant) :)

    In a sense the six mark questions are easier. You can be almost entirely wrong and get 1/6 for the same reward (1 mark) as getting a multiple choice question 100% correct.

    • @zachselis1623
      @zachselis1623 2 года назад +2

      But you lose out on 5 marks with the 6 marker. With subjects like maths and physics you should think about marks dropped not gained

    • @jameskonefal3453

      @@zachselis1623 I disagree - it is a more positive and optimistic mindset to focus on the marks gained.

      @zachselis1623 2 года назад +1

      @@jameskonefal3453 it's delusional to say that 1/6 on a 6 mark question is as good as 1/1 on a multiple choice

    • @jameskonefal3453
      @jameskonefal3453 2 года назад

      @@zachselis1623 Mathematically, that 1 mark gained on a 6 mark question is of equal value in calculating your final grade as the 1 mark gained from getting a multiple choice question right. So I really don't think it's delusional.

    • @zachselis1623
      @zachselis1623 2 года назад +1

      @@jameskonefal3453 I think it's better to think of it as the equivalent of getting 1 multiple choice questions correct out of 6. You wouldn't necessarily be happy with that. I can see where youre coming from but for me it should be the percentage of marks you get on the question as opposed to marks gained which is fairly arbitrary when looking at each individual question
