It was nice to see Guards SP Triston McKenzie pitch better in this game though...... had a very shaky first two innings but thankfully, pitched well enough to pick up the W. The Cleveland Offense is having great ABs and doing well with RISP. Go Guardians!!!! 😃⚾⚾⚾💥

Our top 4 in the lineup is hitting as well as anyone in MLB right now. Kwan is gonna be a monster for a long time. Gimenez, Ramirez and Naylor are all studs. If Josh stays healthy he will hit 30 HR this year and bat .300. He hit .308 last year but he missed 6 weeks. And the bottom of the lineup is soooooo much better with Straw and Hedges out and Freeman, Brennan, Frey, Arias, etc in.
@@Justin-pq3rq Starting pitching is still an issue, and Kwan will cool off. The four players that you named as positive additions are all very early in their careers. In 2022, all the kids played well. In 2023, most of them regressed to the norm. We will have to see whether this team is more like 2022 or 2023.
@@roberthudson1959 Kwan, Gimenez, Ramirez and Naylor aren’t going anywhere. And Freeman is a huge upgrade in center. Bo naylor is light years better than Hedges. Brennan, Frey, Florial, arias and Rocchio aren’t guaranteed outs either. This is our best lineup in awhile. If we still had Beiber I would say we have a chance to make a deep playoff run but it’s gonna be tough without him. The whole Key is Gavin Williams. If he can come in and be the Ace we all know he can. That will solidify the rotation. Bibee and Allen will settle down and I think McKenzie is gonna be ok. He’s pain free and the tear is high up which is a good thing. He’s not gonna be dominant but he will be decent. God I just wish we had Beiber. We would have a chance at a Pennant if we had him.
This new general manager is doing a absolutely great job running this team.. well oil machine and we play great being under dogs.. and not being rated with the other team in the major league.. we are the youngest hottest team in the MLB.. we be good
Vogt was the key to unlock this team. Amazing when players who are young and hungry aren't held back by stiffs like Straw. Love ya Tito, but he held the team back last year.

It’s a long season but I like our start.
If Bibee and Stix can level out, and Gavin comes back hungry, we have a real shot it feels like.
I don't expect them to go deep in the playoffs but it's fun watching a young, hungry team. JRam sets the tone.
