- How to fold a Jumping Cricket from one square sheet of paper no cutting or taping. Designing this model was a response to Brian Play 2 Gamer's livestream comment: "If you are really an origami professional can you show us how to make a jumping cricket?"
Well, Brian, was I able to answer your question?😉
To fold this model I recommend using 6-inch kami, but I think printer paper cut square would also work well.

I am 9 years old. When I saw the model I thought I would not be able to fold it. But, I found it quite easy and my model looks amazing!

Wow, it looks so complex, especially the head and legs, yet so simple. Amazing that there are no cuts at all, you've done an incredible job on this one. Your origami is just so incredible.

I HATE this, I had the same issue ordering from ebay.
It isn't a problem I design really complex designs and If I have rectangle I fold the diagonal and cut it in to a square no ruler needed

I made the cricket out of a 20cm x 20cm printer paper, it was a bit too thick but it jumps !!! Thanks so much for the tutorial.

okay this was really fun but next time i think i should use origami paper and not my low quality printer paper.. it started tearing at the end and wouldn't fold properly because it was too thick, but that was entirely my fault and i think this is amazing:)
