We are learning so much about Oaxacan food and mezcal...it's our 4th month in Oaxaca. We think that we will choose Oaxaca as our first home base in central Mexico after almost 15 months of wandering in our little RV...
As I started this video, I paused it and ran and poured myself a small glass of mezcal that I got from Rey de Mazatlan, when I was down there back in November!
Gotta love it! Small world great place!

Thank you! You know we've had this footage for a while; glad we were able to share this story.
I didn't realize that Mezcal was so important in Mexico, very interesting video. The families all have their unique twist on the mezcal that they make, and that lone guy, holy moly the flavors he had. Thanks for showing us!
Thanks for coming along 😊
Great episode! Very informative and well put together! Felt like we were there with y’all! ☝🏿❤
I knew y’all would go deep on this one; excellent documentary/storytelling skills and as always, mad respect for the Mexican people and business owners. #neversellout !!

She's basically saying, 'never sell out'
We respect that.
My son loves the Tobalá! Make friends with some small village locals and they will give you the skinny on "real" mezcal!
That's where we found the good stuff!
....LINDA NOCHE MÁS ❤🎉
✨
Buenas noches
Waiting for yall to do one about da marijuana "😎"
Seems like you guys like Mexico more than all the other countries visited.
It may appear this way...this isn't factual.
What not to love about Mexico?❤
I feel that the traditional Mezcal distillation process (& the people protecting it) should be treated no less than & receive AT LEAST the same protection as the people of "Champagne" received for their unique distillation process. No one should be able to call the drink "Mezcal" unless it comes from them & it is respected/processed with the traditional methods.
