When you drink Mezcal, you are drinking sun rays, because Is the healthiest drink in the world. How they says in Oaxaca, for everything bad, Mezcal and for everything well too. Long live Oaxaca!!! 👏👏👏🔥
The worm was not mention. i was born in 1942 in México, I have always like mezcal, all the mezcal I remember drinking, I don’t drink any longer, the bottles came with a worm inside… tasty! 😖 People in the states though that tequila was the one with the worm, i don't recall every seeing a worm in a tequila bottle, empty or full. 🎉😂
Great video. Jesus, they need to genetically engineer a faster maturing agave. Surely possible. Obviously it'll be controversial, but as demand for Mexican spirits continue to rise, which it will, both as Mexico itself grows richer and as its cuisine gains in popularity, it will be necessary to match the market. Otherwise, the spirit's price will skyrocket, excluding local consumption. Already this is a problem in Mexico with respect to fruits and vegetables. The lion's share of harvests are exported, leaving only the dregs for local consumers.
Great mini documentary
This was wonderfully shot
Great overview on the process. Love Mexico and I love mezcal!
El señor Lorenzo fue mi padrino en paz descanse.

The Philippine Influence in Mexican Mezcal Distilling
How 500 years and a 12,000 mile-trade route shaped modern mezcal.

no. no gmos are looked with a good light in méxico
No mames guey
Great video. But the music is the least Mexican thing I ever heard.
Why because it ain’t mariachi? Ever heard of la bamba...I’ll just leave it there for you to figure it out
Joshua Jiménez estás fallando como mexicano si no conoces los sones.
Now this is something deeply cultural
This type of music couldn't be more Mexican!
It just happens to be from Veracruz, a state in the Gulf of Mexico; Oaxaca is on the Pacific coast.
Sounds Mexican to me. Makes me want to have 6 kids
