In this German lesson (lesson 11) you will learn German with dialogs (German as a foreign language) and prepare for the German exam of Telc & Goethe! In 20 videos you will learn all 960 words you need for the "Start Deutsch 1" exam (German level A1).
Learn, repeat, refresh your vocabulary and grammar and prepare for the German exam! This makes learning German easy and fun!
Our videos contain a complete list of the vocabulary required to pass the A1 German exam. The vocabulary is taught in stories with dialogs. This makes it easier to learn them. You can practise important vocabulary for the "Speaking German" (oral communication) or "Writing" (written communication) part of the exam. You can listen to all the conversations in the video. This is how you practise for the "Listening" and "Reading" part of the exam.
You understand German without any previous knowledge because the images in the video reproduce the audio text/text.
We have marked the vocabulary with different colors so that you can better distinguish and remember the word types (articles of nouns / verbs): masculine nouns in blue, feminine nouns in red, neutral nouns in green, plural nouns in purple, verbs in orange.
In addition to vocabulary and phrases, our videos will also help you unconsciously learn the correct German pronunciation, sentence structure and German grammar:
- Decline articles, adjectives and pronouns correctly
In German, words are declined according to case (= case), gender (= grammatical gender) and number (= number). You need to know the article of the nouns and their plural form in order to decline them correctly.
- Conjugate verbs
Conjugating German verbs correctly ensures that you are understood. To use verbs correctly, you need to learn the German conjugation. Conjugating German verbs simply means changing certain parts of the verbs to say who is doing the action and when.
The Goethe-Zertifikat A1: Start Deutsch 1 requires very basic language skills. The exam corresponds to the first level (A1) on the six-level competence scale of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. By successfully completing this exam, participants have proven that they can communicate in German at a very basic level. They have shown that they can understand, speak and write German. They can
- short, simple questions, instructions and messages in everyday situations,
announcements on the answering machine, public announcements and short
public announcements and short conversations,
- extract information relevant to them from written text messages, public
signs and small advertisements,
- name and understand numbers, quantities, times and prices,
- fill in forms with regard to simple and personal details,
- write short personal messages,
- introduce themselves in conversation and answer simple questions about themselves,
- formulate and respond to common everyday requests and demands.
Start German 1 consists of a written individual examination with the following test sections
listening, reading and writing sections and an oral group examination.
