Yes, I had it, the problem is they don’t give you an alignment tool so not everybody could align it properly. Plus, I’d rather it be on the inside so there’s no possibility of it getting unstuck. They really need to make a version that has MagSafe built into it. Even if it’s a little bit thicker, I’m willing to make that sacrifice as I’m sure so many others are too
Putting MagSafe aside, which one do you prefer and you’d use personally between Latercase and Pitaka? Would you try the new Pitaka MagEZ5 and review it? It’s stated on their website the case even thinner than the MagEZ4, similar thickness and weight to Latercase but with MagSafe built-in. I think the case would be one of the best thin case on the market rn
Great question. MagSafe aside, I'd prefer the latercase just because of the grip and the bottom of the case stops right before the bottom of the phone so it doesn't dig into your pinky. But Pitaka is still great. They're still one of my favorite cases. As far as the MagEZ 5, it is on the way. As soon as I get it, I'll do a video on it so everyone can see it. I'm excited to check it out as well. So stay tuned for that!
@@Brians_tech great, I’ll be waiting for that MagEZ5 review! 🙌🏻 Agreed, I think Latercase is just better with the texture, and much more comfortable to hold than any other aramid cases I’ve tried. Latercase just dropped new MagLock ring, as an additional MagSafe ring that we could stick on the back of the case. Will you also try that one? I think it could solve the problem (at least temporarily) until they release a built-in MagSafe case 👀
Yep. Mine does too, but when connecting to MagSafe it’s super weak. They just started making a MagSafe ring that’s attachable to the case, so I ordered that and will make a video on it when it comes.
Fingerprints are my #1 enemy on a phone case. I impulsively and compulsively have to wipe them off every time I see one. It is for this reason that I went with the Caudabe Sheath for my iPhone 14Pro and absolutely loved the case and never had one fingerprint show. For my 15pro I will be ordering the Caudabe Synthesis. There may be other more appealing cases out there, but the Caudabe cases check off all the boxes for me personally.
Need to get the Pitaka for MagSafe , but with MagSafe it’ll never be as thin as the Latercase is. Personally i just use MagSafe for charging and I can do that with my Latercase.
Nothing wrong with that at all. The latercase is great for that. But for people who use a lot of MagSafe accessories, this case could be a little unreliable in that area.
So what’s the alternative to this case, not in terms of colour because I wouldn’t be okay with the fingerprints, but in terms of thinness and the added MagSafe? What would you all recommend? I have an 15 pro max with a ESR case which is really nice but too bulky for me..
To use any accessories that you move around with you do. I can’t use a popsocket with it without it falling off with slight movement. Even though the popsocket’s MagSafe is crazy strong.
Absolutely in fact I was fixing to get the case but since it doesn’t have the MagSafe !! I will not be making that purchase today , Definitely a deal breaker
No magsafe = No buy
Seems to be the general consensus so far 😂 I’d even take a bit thicker version for MagSafe.
They sell the magnetic ring, it just sticks right on the outside perfectly.

The grips on the side have me intrigued I think I may order one
It’s the same texture all over. It’s great
Just no MagSafe unfortunately
My phone still charges wirelessly, and it says on the box wireless charging compatible, but no mag safe ring,

I would definitely buy one with magsafe. Cool content!
It would be so good!
No MagSafe? No buy for me. My favorite case at the moment is the caudabe sheath. I have the aspen technicly red coming in too
Both the sheath and technically red aspen are such good cases. Great choices!

Same! I love Caudabe cases. They check all the boxes and they’re always consistent!

get thinborne
So if you put it face down, the screen glass touches the table? You skipped over that, just said it has no lip? Really?
Saying it has no lip implies that the screen will touch the surface you set it on. Next time I’ll do a better job showing it lol
@@Brians_tech Agreed...but slim fit case or not the screen touching is a major downside. Whats the point of even using a case?
I have one and put a MagSafe ring on it.
I bought their MagSafe ring too, but haven't even put it on yet. I just really prefer it to be built in. One can dream lol.

Benks Armor Air, Thinborne (video coming soon), Pitaka mag ez 4
@@Brians_tech okay cool I will take a look. Thanks for the advice.
I’ve seen people attach an external MagSafe ring to this case to bootleg the problem
The Torras slim fit has MagSafe and is half the price. Went with that instead
That was my favorite slim case last year. This year it’s great too. The video for that is coming soon.
Went with the carbon fiber v3 from Reborn Device. Real sturdy minimalist case with MagSafe.
No magsafe is like eating spaghetti without sauce or buying a car without tires
No its more like eating spegetti with a spoon and driving a car with no powersteering.
The only reason that makes me buy pitaka cause latercase don't have magnetic
I agree. If latercase had the magnets, it would be the best super thin case, I’d say.
you dont need magsafe bc its slim enough
To use any accessories that you move around with you do. I can’t use a popsocket with it without it falling off with slight movement. Even though the popsocket’s MagSafe is crazy strong.
i regret buying it and used Pitaka.
Pitaka is great for sure. I like the latercase a lot, I just need that MagSafe.
Latercase is highly overrated. Much better Kevlar cases are available for the same price
I wont buy it..... not 360 protection....
Just some alibaba garbage he’s selling for 10 times the price
Citation?
I don't think he's getting his from Alibaba. Pretty sure Lew is doing this from scratch.
Absolutely in fact I was fixing to get the case but since it doesn’t have the MagSafe !! I will not be making that purchase today , Definitely a deal breaker
