COUPLE Kai-De and Blayr met as two lesbian women but are now husband and wife - as Kai-De has transitioned from female to male. Unfortunately for them, Kai-De's mother Kay has not embraced Kai-De's transition and insists on addressing him with 'she' pronouns. Kai-De has been on hormones for over a year but Kay has been avoiding talking about the transition at all. Kai-De told Truly: "I come from a very conservative family and it took a while for them to come around, they still use 'she' pronouns". Kai-De and Blayr are also planning on having a child soon, but Kay is struggling to accept that the child won't biologically be Kai-De's. "My mother is very adamant now that I have a biological child - that's not how I want to have a baby," Kai-De said. The couple are now ready to properly confront Kay about their different views for the first time.

Mom: when you give birth to a child, that child is a separate human being. It is free to make their own choices and decisions. Let go. Do not be selfish. Your child's life is not your life to live. Their life does not belong to you.
YES! A parent is supposed to love their child no matter what. Most parents don't care if it's a boy or girl, so for his mom to act brand new when he transitions shows more about her as a so called mother then it does about her son🤷🏾♀️

i think some people fail to realize that she's slowly losing a daughter that she raised for years, it isnt about acceptance but understanding, like she said she will never not love her daughter. The love will always be there, but no one has to accept or be forced to have different beliefs. I'm sure they can have a great relationship if they meet in the middle, instead of just jumping to the side that best suits someone.

They have every right to live their life how they want but it doesnt change biology, theres a reason 2 women and 2 man cant create a baby. That in itself proves there is something wrong.
I had two friends who were a lesbian couple and one of them decided to transition. They ended up getting separated and divorced because the female said that she was attracted to women, not men. It's was heartbreaking to see their 5yo daughter go through the divorce.

@@breal4real460 It's not just about what your partner looks like, but what they identify as. I'm straight, and if my husband realized he was trans and began transitioning into a woman, I would still love the person and support their transition, but I would no longer be attracted to or in love with them as a partner.
I think that should've been said before they transitioned cause that clearly wasn't said if they had a 5 year old daughter

The only part of these videos is the part where they always have a “honest” convo. But is it really that honest when everyone knows they’re being watched and this episode will air. Like having these types of conversations shouldn’t be had in front of strangers or recorded.
So if her son or daughter had another medical condition that stopped them from producing children and had to rely on donors or adoption, the grandmother wouldn't accept her grandchild because it wasn't biological? Also I wonder if there a possibility for reciprocal egg transfer?

This is so hard. Normally i wouldn't understand the mother until she said I'm looking at it from a mother's point, you have to respect that people will still have their own opinion but as long as she still loves you. She just may not agree.
