I might just be over analyzing, but each lyric seems to represent one character in a certain aspect. “Don’t be lied to…” is Simon, and his absolute refusal to trust anyone since they could end up backstabbing him. Samantha, Amelia, Grace, and who knows who else betrayed him by keeping him in the dark, so if he shuts himself off from anyone, he could no longer be lied to. “Help me not to…” could be Hazel, and her wanting Grace to help her conceal her identity. Being a 6 year old, she is vulnerable to being impressionable and easily trusting toxic individuals and their ideologies, to the point where she is ashamed of her own identity and wants to hide it right up until the end. “Going back to…” I guess could be Amelia? Hazel, representing Alrick and having some of his characteristics, has made Amelia silently reminisce about her late fiancé (in my mind, at least), but is still prone to shutting the girl off and treating her as a science experiment more than an individual. “No, we’ve gone too far…” is definitely Grace. She has finally realized her ideals and actions are wrong and have led to people getting hurt, whether it’s Tuba, Hazel, Simon, or the entire Apex. The murders, the betrayals, the attempts to mend the scars, she has gone too far.
"I did everything I could to not be alone....And thats exactly how I ended up....." Grace traveled the greatest distance out of the entire cast of IT so far. I'm so proud of her for coming to terms with herself.
too bad that season 4 basically traveled the least amount of it and with it being the more or less final season.. it ended on a sour note for me, also cuz the final season felt messy and unfocused, having too many ideas but lack of execution. If I would rank the seasons, I'd say season 3 is the best for me, followed by season 1, 2 and then 4 by a large margin
@@suezcontours6653 It was considered too dark for kids and not mature enough for older audiences. The show still has a pretty good following however, I wouldn't lose hope of the Train coming around again...
The perfect soundtrack for the scene : weird and merciless. Trapped inside her own mind, Grace is finally forced to face the truth about herself, and it's not pretty.
The reason I love this part of the soundtrack slightly more is cause people can get their own interpretation of the lyrics and no one is technically right or wrong
i was rewatching this episode and i immediately drawn to the part that sounds like someone saying "dont be lied to" im in love with this soundtrack, i wish theyd release book2-3 on spotify as well,,
We just won’t tell Simon, okay? We just won’t tell Simon, okay? We just won’t tell Simon, okay? We just won’t tell Simon, okay? We just won’t tell Simon, okay? We just won’t tell Simon, okay? I think i am the only one who hears “ Going back to “ and not “Don’t be lied to”. Although the latter makes a lot more sense regarding that particular episode.
Any1 knows the ost from episode 9 where Grace inside her own memory at the pumpkin field saw the Steward and the Conductor as huge with cool black smoke effects and allpowerfull (simon vision i suppose) while they said "take what we need from the car" and Grace was like "this isn't right "and then the true smaller conductor appeared and Simon then throws an tantrum? it's not long like 20-30 sec cant seem to find it anywhere! :((
I uploaded this song twice because Chrome posted another part on his Instagram, so I wanted to get a higher quality version out.
"Don't. Be. Lied. To. Don't. Be. Lied. To."

@@diegoernestovarelaparra3820 Why cancel a show like this? And then get shows like Velma?

Easily the best song in the entire series
The perfect soundtrack for the scene : weird and merciless. Trapped inside her own mind, Grace is finally forced to face the truth about herself, and it's not pretty.
please....comeback infinity train!
The one dislike is from Simon because he didn't like the fact Grace was emotionally stronger than him

This is probably my favorite track out of Book 3! Also, the whole book was amazing to go along with that.
This song is like staring wide eyed at a fire from a cliff as it engulfs the ground below you and rises higher than a building
My favourite Book 3 soundtrack!
This score in general is genius, the whole season is genius.

I can't help but hear "We've gone too far" instead
I hear all of it

I didn’t want it to be like this, I liked what we had but u made me do it, u betrayed the apex, and u betrayed me
WHO DISLIKED?!
Simon itself 😔😔😔
Simon obviously
Someone needs to make a one-hour remix
god this soundtrack is so fucking creepy

Either keep searching, give up, or either plus chalk it up to the Mandela Effect.
Sooo deep 😱🥺
This sounds like Trans Europe Express.
