I've had that 'old familiar feeling' lately that I used to get during the Cold War in the 1960s.

I was born in 1942, therefore all radiation from these tests resulted in contaminating everything on this planet at that time and for years to follow.
The inhabitant's of these islands, which were delivered elsewhere for safe keeping, were permitted after some time to return home. Then, the horror began. Most prevalent and still happening is the offspring are born without skeletons. Yes, that still goes on to this very day. I tell you true. Sincerely and humbly I remain at 79 y.o., Sentebey in USA.

I love these old U.S Government videos, the music, the quality of the voice. We may have better tech now, but we have lost analog texture, color. Oh well, at least we can sample the f^k out of this stuff!

I sincerely hope images of nuclear blasts remain in the past. Most folks don't realize how terrible these weapons are. One explosion will change the world forever.

Worst? Really? Stalin killing 20+ million, Mao killing 60+ million, and then there's that Holocaust thing with the Germans. And YOU think atomic weapons are the worst? In what way?

@@buckhorncortez because now almost the whole world is full of slaves to the world power nuclear stalemate potential war economic resource race. Trying to do your best living in a world in which you know countries have the means to almost completely destroy another country and kill millions in moments is sick and sad. To live knowing and preparing how you may have to kill your neighbor is no way to live. Sick society.
