Absolutely agree! You guys need to triple your mileage given all the walking back and forth you do to set up cameras. I love the storytelling that you do. It reminds me to get out there and hike!
Yeah, that's the difference between someone who truly loves attention vs someone who just wants to get out there. I've done all sorts of traveling, but I'd never record it like this.
I love that quote. The cure for first world problems is to live without first world amenities for a while. It definitely reminds you to be appreciate and grateful for what you have. Thanks Rob!!
Balm for the spirit. I have been going through some really tough times, not Corona related. Thank you for soothing my soul with these videos. Sometimes you couldn't possibly know what you do for people.
Ah man, I wish we could take credit for the music in this one, but it's all from Epidemic Sound. Credits are in the description if you're interested in any of the songs!
Robby probably walked double the trail with all those shots of him walking away from the camera. He always has to go back and get the camera and then walk that part again. I appreciate you. Also you gotta put some peanut butter in your oatmeal. That’s my favorite!
With everything going on in the world right now, 'getting out there' is the only thing keeping our group sane! Watching you when we can't physically adventure is part of that process for us. Kudos to each one of you!
As a Midwestern boy of Illinois exploring coast/coast for 18 yrs now, I appreciate the steps you've taken making this footage. From Nova Scotia to Oregon I myself have hiked km/miles amongst "Mother Nature".... From Southern Illinois to you, "Never stop Exploring"
Roman soldiers were expected to march up to 25miles a day wearing full battle armor and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Mostly they marched 10 miles but then had to dig trenches and drive wood steaks in front of the ditch for the perimeter of the camp. Whenever I start thinking about how far I can hike in a day I think about that for inspiration
Thank you all for what you guys are doing. In part, it was your videos that motivated me to get out of the house and start exploring nature on foot around the city with a lightweight backpack on my shoulders. This Saturday, I walked 43.6 kilometers (about 27 miles) in nine and a half hours, including a break, such as a dayhike. Thank you again for everything. Greetings from Belarus =)
I love this channel, no unnecessary visual effects, limited commentary which is great, and when there is commentary, it's meaningful or funny, but most of all I like the awesome shots and the sounds of nature, or sometimes silence, wonderful silence. Awesome job, keep it up!
Your music in this video is top notch! I especially love the violin music at the end. I enjoyed your narration. Nice job. Beautiful views! Your humble meals gave me ideas for when I hike. Thanks Rob! God bless you. 🌷☀️🙂
I love rain, but if I am out in it, I like it warm and gentle. Of course I love all rain types when at home and cozy. Now snow and cold and I don’t like regardless. You guys seem to love winter! More power to you, but I’m staying inside!
I am grateful to be able to hike vicariously through you here! Your thoughtful pauses and funny looks/comments are awesome. Can’t wait to see AA back out there doing their thing!
Man, hooked on your videos after watching the timberline trail! Living vicariously through your videos in the Pandemic. You are very dedicated to quality shots and have the vision! Keep them coming! Also enjoy the music! Cheers!
The video that led me to y'all was Robbie's solo trip on the timberline trail in Oregon. Loving this little trip back to where we first met! Love watching all y'all together but Robbie is fantastic as a solo vlogger, so comfortable in talking to the camera and excellent at setting up those solo shots!
You do such a nice job shooting, editing and composing the music (which is the BEST). The quality of your episode demonstrates all the hard work you put in your projects. Thank you.
So wish i could go hide in the woods for a few days. Got a sick ole dog on his 3rd bought with cancer. Don't think he'll be here much longer. But Adventure Archives this helped me get in a better mood for awhile! Thanks for the video.
You might want to check out "Animal Regeneration" from Sapien Med here on youtube and play it regularly for your dog. There are some great reviews there. ruclips.net/video/KyPbJvZvgl0/видео.html (Edit: I see he just updated that one so there aren't many reviews yet) Maybe play that one and the cancer one a few times per day. This is the cancer one: ruclips.net/video/nai1r51ZnKY/видео.html
Really appreciate the way you guys value the simple things in life, even Robby's version of Taco Bell's Crunchwrap. Thanks for another escape from reality.
Your videos are good. I like walking and wild camping over long distances here in Devon and Somerset, southwest Britain. The Coleridge Way is highly recommended. Can't legally stay overnight away from home yet, but it'll be great to get back on the coastal trails as soon as possible. We have hardly any dangerous wild animals. Just shows you that the young and the old, can enjoy their country and free time for little cost.
Rob, I LOVE the rain.... and hiking in it is awesome. I hiked the Olympic Mountains in Washington State for 8 years. It usually keeps the bugs at bay, and thins out the tourons (idiots in the woods) as well. It does get challenging when the winds kicks up as the rain gets in and around the best of gear. Sooooooo, not everyone who likes the rain never hiked in it. Keep up the great videos as they keep my wife and I entertained!!!
This is so great to see during quarantine but man, as a British hiker, the idea of going camping without a rain proof tent or coat is mental. Very jealous of any country that can so accurately predict the rain and have such gaps of dry weather!
American trails are so well developed. Here in South Korea, when we refer to the forest, the trails are usually a steep vertical rocky climbing with 60 or high degrees. Even worse, we are not even allowed to use fire in most mountains. So the fun of cooking something in the wilderness is taken away.
Great video my friend, good vibes and nice scenery... the music is awesome and the amount of work and time it takes to go forward and back all the time for these shot, is incredible. Thank you for sharing this experience with us!
Love the video, I have been missing going outside and exploring nature but your guys content always satisfies my hunger for adventure and leaves me with a yearning to go outside. No one on youtube does videos as well made and beautiful as you guys. Much love and keep it up!
"People who like rain, have somehow never been in it" *Brings no rain jacket* *Doesn't use the rainfly* Hehe hard to enjoy rain like that ! Thanks Robby for another solo adventure, just what I was craving to watch right now!
Thanks for the great video Robby, and Hi to all the AA Team from down in Australia. Really needed this bit of a lift, though it looks like our restrictions are easing enough in the next couple of weeks to allow camping again, so hopefully we can all be out amongst the trees sometime soon. Stay safe all.
Try adding the peanut butter to the tortilla and cheese. One of my favorites. Anyway, thanks for sharing another wonderful hike with us. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Damn, dude...this vlog is a freeing relief! And this are one of those moments when I'm very thankful to RUclips for recommending your channel! I know this comment is way too late nor even sure if you'd be reading this...but...thank you!!! This quarantine is really killing me, then your talks/conversations are enlightening and entertaining me from drowning in this deep hole of boredom. I'm not sure if you'd take it as a compliment, but, you have the making of "Mike-a.k.a.-Fearless and Far". That clear voice, intelligent injects of deep thoughts about life and that whacky confidence. You just got'ta go to a real deeper travel dude, let that inner Rob spring out and amaze the youtube world. Again, thanks!
May the spirits bless you and keep you in health and happiness ~ “That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo... and it's worth fighting for.” ― Samwise Gamgee
well, youtube sent me here and i gotta say, awesome videos! Really! I am not that much of an outdoor guy, in fact i don't even travel that much either, but watching the content gave me that feeling of "yeah, maybe i should try the outside world when this whole stuff goes away"
Yall are adorable. I enjoy everything posted but these solo vids are some of my favorites! Aren't yall scared of getting lost or creepy stuff happening?
The cemetery segment...🤣🤣🤣. I love that horses have their trails, but I usually stay off them because of the mud. I lost my trail runners in one before!
Hello my outdoors friend, a big thank you for sharing this informative and entertaining video. You always do a magnificent job of filming and narrating. All the best to you for your good health and safety. 🤗
I liked your videos before you mentioned all of the gaming references. Now I love this channel. You're cool dude. I love the mystical sense of adventure you have. I share that. Zelda, FF and Skyrim have instilled a love of adventure and travel in me. Cheers, I wish you a good life.
Very enjoyable video, Rob. The drone shots were incredible and how you operated it while hiking is a mystery to me...almost seems like you were accompanied by someone else. What I missed from your video was having Andrew stop every few minutes to point out some plant...here we have a "delicioso plantus" but only the flowers are edible. Eating any other part of the plant will cause you to have hives and diarrhea for days. I marveled at the knowledge he possessed about flora as I only know the difference between a dandelion and a blade of grass. My gratification comes from the beauty that surrounds us in nature. I only trust the food and water that I personally pack in...shameful but that's me; and I consider myself an avid bushcraft camper. Rob, your pack surely must have weighed more than you, bruh. Eat more pizza! Rob, I love hearing the thoughts that run through people"s minds as they are alone and reflecting on life. At 73, I have seen and experienced generational changes, some good and some not so much, and after this present ordeal we will all realize how much of an impact it will have on the way we live and think. BTW get yourself a Coghlan poncho that will fit in your back pocket; consider it as part of your EDC :)
You know, this kind of video's watching in lockdown make me want to go hicking!. So sad that we can't do that... I see mountains and big forests, so amazing, miss that in the Netherlands, but i am lucky that i can watch this kind of video's 😊
I put this comment on your Bullet Underwater video, but I wanted to be sure you caught it. Keep up the wonderful work. Here is my comment from Hokkaido UnderWater Bullet: Hey AA, This is my 2nd or 3rd video of yours and I'd like to let you know how much I am enjoying them. Please keep doing as you are. If you ever run out of ideas or wish to try something new, new in the sense of what you're doing just maybe a bit more in depth or different styles, I know I'd enjoy: some videos talking about the different foods you eat on the trains, hotels etc. Outside of sushi or tempura I'm a rank amateur. Kinda like a collage of a bunch of your different trips, all put together expanding a bit. That way you dont have to reshoot the travel scenes but could do minis going into depth maybe, what's in your ears, what it tastes close to, maybe history about that food item, locals definitions, just go with it. Who doesnt like food, then add new adventurous food and bam. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would enjoy. For another angle if you get bored, I love the fast paced music with the transitions, it would be nice to see a few with minutes of only scenery or locals with slower music interspersed. I'm not trying to tell you what to make, just throwing some ideas at you. Please, let me know what you think and thanks for the wonderful work. This kind of thing has turned into careers for some, maybe you're next. Good Luck God Bless
the time and effort to not only edit but to take these shots is so appreciated!
I kinda hate the shot when he leaves the camera behind, its just too much effort
It's a lot of work and he does a great job. Also talking to himself (the audience) keeps him company. The trail is a lonely place.
I agree man! Honestly, I think about the fact that they have to go back for the camera for all those shots 😂
I love that quote. The cure for first world problems is to live without first world amenities for a while. It definitely reminds you to be appreciate and grateful for what you have. Thanks Rob!!
Came to comments section for just this. so true.
The only tunes I listen to on trails, birds, water and the leaves. Best therapy 🍃🌿🌱🍂🍁
Balm for the spirit. I have been going through some really tough times, not Corona related. Thank you for soothing my soul with these videos. Sometimes you couldn't possibly know what you do for people.
The music in this one is once again extraordinary! The shots, jokes and conversations are what makes these videos so good, keep em coming :)
Ah man, I wish we could take credit for the music in this one, but it's all from Epidemic Sound. Credits are in the description if you're interested in any of the songs!
good great vid mate
funny
But seriously, the music really takes the video to the next level!

the music really sets the vibe for this
Your music in this video is top notch! I especially love the violin music at the end. I enjoyed your narration. Nice job. Beautiful views! Your humble meals gave me ideas for when I hike. Thanks Rob! God bless you. 🌷☀️🙂
You have the BEST bed head ever!!! You should do a whole compilation of your best bed head moments.
You are right about appreciation in modern countries, people not only don't appreciate but they feel entitled and not apathetic to others.
I love rain, but if I am out in it, I like it warm and gentle. Of course I love all rain types when at home and cozy. Now snow and cold and I don’t like regardless. You guys seem to love winter! More power to you, but I’m staying inside!
Music in this one was especially amazing. Really contributed to the video!
Definitely the entertainer of the group. Fun video. Thanks for the outtakes.
Nicely done Robby! Entertaining escape for those of us who aren't quite yet able to get out like this. This video made our day. Thank you.
Cheers!
The Timberline trail was also the first video that I watched and I too am hooked! They are very inspiring!
16:15 When my dude busted out those slick moves! :D
That acoustic guitar ditty from 5:50 to 7:38 kicks ass !! All those 7th and 12th fret chimes with a little bit of delay............ oh, baby !!!
You do such a nice job shooting, editing and composing the music (which is the BEST). The quality of your episode demonstrates all the hard work you put in your projects. Thank you.
This channel is a huge inspiration for me to get out and record. Please keep'm coming!

@Rosie D thanks. i watch Kraig Adams also plus several more. Haven't herd of Beau Miles but will check it out.
"You guys feeling that morale boost? I'm feeling it!" Sums up the vid, right there. Nicely done. Cheers!
Thank you for doing this! I'm in awe by the turnaround time for this video. You are an editing machine.
Really appreciate the way you guys value the simple things in life, even Robby's version of Taco Bell's Crunchwrap. Thanks for another escape from reality.
Omg that's exactly what I'm craving right now!

I actually enjoy these types if adventure videos. Seems more personal.
I love rain and i have been in it, under it by choice, just spinning and dancing and splashing water, just enjoying it hihi
Loved that quesadilla dance!😄❤️
Love the jazz tracks. One does not often hear jazz on backpacking videos. Nice touch.
As much as I enjoy seeing you all together, You do a great job on your own,I really appreciate you doing this on your own.You are SPECIAL!
Been missing you guys! Get out & hike now, you are young & strong and will be fine!!!
Rob,

Nature, sick moves, witty remarks!!!!! and cold cheese burritos YASSSS!!!!! Been missing all of it. Thxs!!!

Love the music in this one! And beautiful scenery. Living in soflo, I miss songbirds, and the woods of the midwest.
Awesome video as usual. Beautiful hike.
"People who like rain, have somehow never been in it"
*Brings no rain jacket*
*Doesn't use the rainfly*
Hehe hard to enjoy rain like that ! Thanks Robby for another solo adventure, just what I was craving to watch right now!
I adore rain but admit that it sure makes things challenging when you're trying to do something lol.
i loved hearing the birds and rain and footsteps through the wooda
Thanks for the great video Robby, and Hi to all the AA Team from down in Australia. Really needed this bit of a lift, though it looks like our restrictions are easing enough in the next couple of weeks to allow camping again, so hopefully we can all be out amongst the trees sometime soon. I hope you guys are all doing well. Your the best gentlemen. I love the back pack it’s bad ass.
Stay happy healthy and fluid.
I love how this is an AA video but totally just in the Robby vlog style. Classic.
Watching you eat the oatmeal at the end... I kept thinking... "when is the knee slap coming"... you didn't disappoint:)
"Smell that sanitization"!!! Good one. Great job on this little adventure, Robby!
I'm glad to see I'm not the only person that dances, and does strange things like putting a spoon in my eye, while I'm by myself in the woods.
Ah the happy food dance. A man of my own heart!
The music is amazing! And so is the cheese tortilla! Love the video!
Awesome video you make me want to get out and spend a night in the woods thank you so much
DUDE! Another great video with the Robby touch. My second time watching this....I'm itching to camp!
Thanks for all your hard work.
Very nice video. So refreshing these days. I live in Champaign and I'm going to try that trail soon. Simply nice. Thank you
These woods are very beautiful. That's a good hike! Yes, your music selections do match and add to the experience of such beautiful scenery on video.
Great use of B roll footage! Very enjoyable to watch
I enjoy your wonderment and awe of nature. It IS awesome. Thank you for respecting and appretiating it. Music and editing great also.
Try adding the peanut butter to the tortilla and cheese. One of my favorites. Anyway, thanks for sharing another wonderful hike with us. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I will try this, that's a great idea!
outtakes were hilarious. "It's a little too much but *triple takes* I'LL MANAGE" great video as always

Nice Walk. The Nature is indeed very beautiful and precious. =)
Another great video! I always feel recharged when I watch you guys videos. 😊😊👍👍
Wow! Absolutely beautiful terrain! Glad it didn't rain the whole time too!!!! Keep up the great videos!
"Livin in the city its do or die" hahaha I also enjoy singing songs that randomly pop in my head in the woods
It’s hard to imagine that one man has done all those things by himself 👍
May the spirits bless you and keep you in health and happiness ~

Yall are adorable. I enjoy everything posted but these solo vids are some of my favorites!
Aren't yall scared of getting lost or creepy stuff happening?
The most miles I hiked in a day was 16 Miles at the Gettysburg PA Battlefield. Thank you for a wonderful hike thru Hoosier National Forest.
The cemetery segment...🤣🤣🤣. I love that horses have their trails, but I usually stay off them because of the mud. I lost my trail runners in one before!
Had to give a thumbs up for that dance while eating quesadilla!
Your so goofy and talented and enjoyable to watch!! I'm a fan for life..please keep the adventures coming😘😘😘
You guys always knock it out of the park. So good! 🙏🤙
You have a beautiful and huge country over there.
Thanks for the video man.
You are so delightfully weird and I am totally here for it!
Been enjoying your channel these last couple days. Thanks for the extra effort you put in documenting your treks.
Oh man what a treat! I just had a long tiring day and now I am gonna make myself a nice warm dinner and watch this amazing video. Thanks Robby.
Hello my outdoors friend, a big thank you for sharing this informative and entertaining video. You always do a magnificent job of filming and narrating. All the best to you for your good health and safety. 🤗
Now I've got a craving for quesadillas and peanut butter.
I liked your videos before you mentioned all of the gaming references. Now I love this channel. You're cool dude. I love the mystical sense of adventure you have. I share that. Zelda, FF and Skyrim have instilled a love of adventure and travel in me. Cheers, I wish you a good life.
Robbie so good to see you outside again amigo, really missed the beautiful composition of the musical score you guys always put together!
I greatly appreciate this video and wonderful music. Especially when I'm at home 90% of the time......Thank you
Nice trail. I love the color of green from the tree leaves in the springtime.
Very enjoyable.
That pizza made me hungry!!!
The music in this one is amazing. Lovin' that Nujabes vibe.
I felt exactly like you 2 days ago when I got out for section hiking the VIT. Felt Sooooo good
We could definitely hang out. Love the laugh when you eat good food
Very enjoyable video, Rob. The drone shots were incredible and how you operated it while hiking is a mystery to me...almost seems like you were accompanied by someone else. 16:16 Robby dancing with is coradilla? Lol great video and laughs! Love your music!
Your video editing is amazing. You have a great concept . good job
Thanks for giving me a bit of escape from life as we know it today!
Here is my comment from Hokkaido UnderWater Bullet:
Hey AA, This is my 2nd or 3rd video of yours and I'd like to let you know how much I am enjoying them.
Please keep doing as you are.
If you ever run out of ideas or wish to try something new, new in the sense of what you're doing just maybe a bit more in depth or different styles, I know I'd enjoy:
some videos talking about the different foods you eat on the trains, hotels etc.
Good Luck

4K looks so good! Good stuff man! Trying to hype myself up for a solo over-nighter right now bro.
