I feel like I’m losing my team members to the other side when they leave the gospel of Jesus Christ. But I’m learning to trust in the Lord, his timing and his love for them to bring them back one day, whether in this life or the next. Love this podcast. Thank you for giving us all hope for those who are struggling or who may have fallen away. May we as disciples of Jesus Christ continue to gather Israel. With patience, hope, faith and charity, the pure love of Jesus Christ.

Because I have such a strong testimony of the truthfulness of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and priesthood authority being restored to the earth, and have had several spiritual experiences that have verified that to me, it also breaks my heart when people leave the fullness of the Gospel. It is so refreshing to hear of those who come back. I continue to pray for those who have left, that someday they will come back.
Once I was studying other churches and felt they all had good in them and point people to Jesus Christ. I prayed to know what our church has that others don’t. The answer came to me (and I don’t think like that): “The FULLNESS of the truth, and the means whereby we can become joint heirs with Christ.”

Thank you for your words. I've always mourned over friends who've left the church more than friends who have died. It always feels more tragic. I needed to hear your words. It seems more and more friends are struggling to keep the faith.

Plus, who are we following? People or God. People come and people go, but God never leaves us.

"Church" is never used in the Bible as a measure for salvation nor spirituality.
    John 17:3
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Does a person know God and the Lord Jesus Christ? THAT is eternal life. THAT is what matters. Religion and "church" have nothing to do with it. Do you know your Creator? Have you trusted Jesus to save you from your sins?

The church is an important part of the equation of exultation. Jesus Christ was very deliberate about choosing and ordaining leaders to carry forward the gospel, and that was only possible within the church he established.
