I love your story Austin. Thank you for your humility and being vulnerable so others can be uplifted and guided. You are sharing your experience, your light and I hope you will be blessed. 🙏🙏
I had a similar experience 10 years ago when I felt the power of the priesthood manifested from the laying on of hands. It was not one of the 12 apostles. It was from our ward employment specialist. A saint of an old man who honored and loved his priesthood. Changed my life! Thank you for your story, Austin! Hopefully I’ll see you one day in the Taylorsville temple (: my parents are workers there
Awesome thanks for sharing your testimony gives much strength to many others including myself. I understand and feel the struggle and pains. I'm currently doing the Healing through the Savior ARP 12 months now, and has given me much strength and power to carry on. I've still got a long way to go but still learning how to surrender fully, so it was great to hear your story and how you surrendered. ❤
Thank you Austin and Ashley for this powerful testimony of the love of our God and Jesus!! Ashley I appreciate a lot how you allow people to tell their stories without interruption just being a good listener, this allows us to feel the Spirit and ponder!! ❤️
Thank you all for your kind comments to Austin! It has been a blessing to see him turn to Christ and embrace the goodness that comes from living a drug free life. Keep it up Austin!
Thank you! The “surrendering” and repenting . . . that is so hard. I can’t imagine going through that, I applaud your strength! I loved hearing about how accepting your ward is, that is so Christlike ❤.
Thank you, Austin. This is raw 🥺😢 What an amazing journey. There's something about the temple grounds that always make me feel closer to the Lord. Keep shining your light, bro ✨️💛
Austin, your story made me cry the whole way through. Your sincerity and authenticity make your story so powerful. Thank you for your surrender, and your honesty, and for the work for yourself you have done. Thank you for the service to others you have done. And thank you for your testimony. This has been so powerful and uplifting and encouraging. You're a good man! 🙏🙏🙏👊👊👊
This was so touching. So proud of you !! Keep reading the BOM everyday. I also listen to a conference talk everyday. It's an amazing way to feel the spirit!
I love how Austin was guided to the temple. It truly is a beacon of light and a place of healing and strength. I'm super impressed at the 180 this man was able to make. Maybe my thoughts wandered and I missed this, but I wondered if Austin went to an actual rehab facility, or was working with a Bishop enough?
Incredible story. Thanks for being raw and honest with this. I plan on sharing this with two of my teenage sons who are struggling with their faith in God and are on dark paths. Thank you
I love this story. Between his mention of not being worthy and the experience he had where God had a very clear hand in his life it made me think of something I discovered while studying about the topic of worthy. One definition of worthy is “deserving of one’s time, attention, interest, work or trouble”. According to Moses 1:39 all mankind is worthy of Gods time, attention, interest, work or trouble. We connect with God when we open our eyes to the ways he is trying to touch us.
Thank you bro.Austin for sharing your story and your testimony...keep going and keep the faith...let God prevail in all your struggles and in your life...God bless and stay in the covenant path.God is real...always remember you are God son...God love you.
Thank you for sharing your story, Austin. I was so touched by your experience in the Taylorsville Temple. It is so close to my heart as I also grew up in Taylorsville.
Powerul episode. Austin, thanks for sharing your experiences. Stay the course, this life is a matathan not a sprint. I am not a hugger, but I am sending you a brohug here.
Thank you for this story. I was sharing about this podcast with my brother yesterday. I love the example faith and hope. These always show me that no matter where we have been, or how far down the wrong road, there is always a way back.
Loved your story, Austin. Though aspects of your story feel more extreme than some people experience, the process of turning to God, acting in faith, and allowing the power of the atonement to work in our hearts and lives is the same for all of us. Thank you for being a good example of this and sharing your story.
Any addiction can damage you in myriad ways. It's not worth it to give in to the temptations we face. This man's experience bears this out. If we do give in to temptations, Father has planned a way for us to be able to overcome them through Jesus Christ's Atonement. This way, the only way, can give us hope.
I love your story Austin. Thank you for your humility and being vulnerable so others can be uplifted and guided. You are sharing your experience, your light and I hope you will be blessed. 🙏🙏
I had to choke back the tears listening to his testimony. I’m so grateful God seeks the most broken of us.

What a touching comeback story. Ashley is so right, there is no place that Christ won’t reach to rescue one of his children.
