Me too...the only thing that worked was downloading on a different computer and transferring the files over to the PC I originally wanted it on. It's a pain, but a solution.
My problem is trying to add an extension to google chrome. The extension s capital one shopping which I have used for years. I had to delete Google chrome for x reason, and reinstall it and now I can't add the extension. Keeps coming back Failed- Network error

after doing the cmd one it worked but it started not working again after the download. Do you know how to fix that?
