Fun video. All the B&M hypers are awesome. My ranking of these North American ones (from 1 to 9): Behemoth Mako Candymonium Goliath Nitro Diamondback Intimidator Raging Bull Apollo’s Chariot But I have to be “that guy” and say that all of these were blown away for me when I rode Shambhala this summer - now a top ten coaster for me.
My ranking is: 1. Mako ………it’s the only B&M Hyper I’ve ridden because I live in a B&M Hyper Desert. I agree that Mako is a front row ride. My first ride was back row and I got off thinking it was a super over-rated coaster. That all completely changed when I rode it in front. I love Mako and the fact that it’s easy to marathon it makes me love it that much more. My trip to SWO at the beginning of November was basically a Walk-On for every coaster.
I've ridden all U.S. HyperCoasters, and my top 3 are: (1) Mako (excellent variety of airtime -- sustained, lateral, flo-jector, etc.); (2) Candymonium (takes best elements of Mako and throws in the Kisses-Fountain helix); (3) Raging Bull (just a really fun, free-feeling coaster that twists and weaves in and out of itself)
Goliath is the most underrated coaster in the US hands down. 1. Goliath 2. Diamondback 3. Behemoth 4. Nitro 5. Raging Bull 6. Candimonium 7. Intrimadator 8. Apollo’s Chariot
Wow! Seeing Apollo last is crazy. We love that coaster so, so much. It's it widely not lived all that much? I never really hear anyone talk about it. Also, YES on Goliath! We're absolutely on the same page with that! 🤝
@@TheChainLift Just like you I think all of these rides are very good and we are nitpicking. Goliath is so far above the others. After that we really have personal preference. I just found Apollo's to have the weakest airtime. I also had a Nitro ride where the midcourse barely hit and those bunny hills were lethal, in a good way. And you nailed it with Goliath's location. If that ride is at Magic Mountain or Dollywood it would be on everyones top ten list.
I’ve only done 4 Including Goliath at LaRonde but here is how I rank them: 1. Candymonium (highlights are the drop, two large hills, speed hill, and outer bank) There is more Quality (weaknesses are that it’s short and some of the elements don’t hit) 9.5/10 #5 of 119 2. Diamondback (highlights are first drop, first two hills, and drop into the splashdown) Mix of Quality and Quantity) (weaknesses are hills after mid course are kind of weak) 9/10 #10 of 119 3. Goliath at LaRonde (highlights are all 6 floater hills, and twisted hill) mix of Quality and Quantity (weaknesses are that there is really no variety of forces, and is smaller) 9/10 #11 of 119 4. Behemoth (highlights are first drop, first airtime hill, and second last drop) there is more Quantity (weaknesses are hills can be weak often, and it’s rough) 8.5/10 #21 of 119
I’ve ridden them all and my least favorite of all of them is Intrimidator. Mako is my favorite of them. Diamondback has fallen a bit and Goliath has really moved up. You can’t go wrong with any of them and I’m sure Shambhala would be my favorite hyper if I ever get to ride it.
They all feel the same to me. Goliath was my first hyper as a kid but it does feel smaller than the taller ones. I think Diamondback, Intimidator and Nitro are all a little better.
IF you like Raging Bull because it's long: it is. But Nitro is longer. That's ok: I prefer Raging Bull too. But I prefer Behemoth to both, including Leviathan. You forgot Goliath at La Ronde. For people obsessed with how coasters look: That one wins, and it's colour scheme is SUPER! It's also the only one to have three untrimmed camelbacks after the drop before any turnaround.
my number 9is Goliath number 8Macao number 7 Behemoth number 6 Canndamonion number 5 Apollos Chariot number 4 raging bull number 3 Nirto number 2 Diamondback number 1 Shamballa
Oh man! Just saw these. I'm so sorry. We've been away from really most social media for over a week. Christmas and family stuff. I appreciate that! Very kind. I'll get a hold of Adam and ask about your question. He knows more about that stuff than I do.

Agree with everything you said. It's also nice seeing Raging Bull so high on your list. Sometimes it feels like we're the only ones who give it love!

Of the 3 I’ve ridden it’s definitely:
1. Mako
2. Diamondback
3. Raging Bull
Of those 3, we'd have the exact same ranking. Couldn't agree more. Thanks for sharing!
Shamballa is beater then all of these but not by much but it is a bit taller and has a longer layout
Raging bull is my favorite. I think it’s usually underrated by enthusiasts

Intimidator gets to much hate
