This tutorial was an absolute lifesaver! My replacement kit was missing the instruction manual and out of all the different tutorials online, this one was the most concise and easy to follow. My iphone was dying a slow death but now it'll live to see another day!

Theirs seems to already come with the front camera assembly, so it looks like I only have to transfer over the home button, which looked a lot less tedious than the camera assembly lol
Thorough videos....my "go to" for screen replacement. I saw you "struggling" with one of the screws (the last cover you put back on). You might suggest in future videos that it's helpful to turn the screw to the left, as if you're loosening it, until you hear the threads click...THEN tighten. Prevents screwing it in at the wrong angle.
Great video. Well explained. I managed to repair my niece's handset when she thought it was a write off! Only problem I had was the rear camera not working. It's not that big of a deal for her as she's the selfie queen!.. but I'm a perfectionist & it's really bugging me! Any ideas on where or what I've done wrong. Thanks
Question: if I get a parts phone from ebay and extract the screen (from parts phone) and swap it on my phone (with cracked screen), do I need to transfer all camera, microphone, speaker, ambient sensors and touch ID button from my old to my new (parts phone) screen???
Hi- I recently replaced a screen on my iPhone8. Didn’t have any apparent problems at first but I’ve since realised that whenever I use contactless Apple Pay the touchscreen becomes inactive straight after. I then have to do a restart. Do you know if there’s any way to resolve this? Many thanks

I have read that to replace the screen you need a machine which can copy the data from the original screen to the new one. And if we don’t do this the new screen will be ‚ghosting‘ or something like that. Is it true?

Help! I am at wits end on getting the home button connection to line up so that I can snap the 2 pieces together. I have tried for hours. I worry about pushing the connectors together if they are not perfectly lined up and damaging them as a result. Any suggestions???
I tried this on several i8+ phones. But it always ends up in that the earspeaker is not functional after the screen is replaced. Everything else is working. But I can't get the earspeaker to work. Anyone who has some tip what went wrong ?

It's an anti static wrist band to make sure your not discharging static into the phone.

Can't get the screen off with the pick. I used a hairdryer, and it got hot enough, but not coming off. anything else I can do?
I had the same problem so I used a razor blade wedged into the corner to lift it then I got the tool in to open it.
I think placed wrong screws near the battery and touch id cables. Now my phone is stuck on apple logo. Any suggestions to fix it?
